LeEco made its official debut in United States few hours ago with several devices including an affordable highend smartphone and the company’s self-driving car LeEco LeSEE Pro.
A special announcement was made on the stage stating that the car will be featured on the upcoming movie Transformers: The Last Knight.
It was unspecified what role the car will play on Transformers 5.
LeEco LeSEE Pro was spotted on the London Set of the new movie near the very end of the principal photography there.
The vehicle will come with its own magnetic charging system (and not the standard J1772 charger), a fold-away steering wheel, and an external display to share information (like if it’s being driven by its robot brain or if it’s available for car sharing).
While director Michael Bay jokingly said “I’m keeping it”, knowing his love for cars, he might actually do that.

My thoughts exactly.

Dang, that car looks pretty cool.
How much do you wanna bet it isn\'t gonna get a robot mode.

The movie has secured all the brands.
I wonder if they've secured a competent story yet.

Such an awesome-looking car.
Love the sleek design.
Deadend
I gotta admit, that one I'd keep too.

To be clear, I think what the article was ATTEMPTING to say was that the either the ONE functional model of the car that COULD have made it to the expo in time was tied-up filming in the UK late enough that it couldn't make it to Vegas after being shipped to L.A. because of the accident en route or else that the selection of available models available was limited to one which was in the U.K. and another in L.A. leading up to the Vegas expo, which likewise never made it.
In either case, it's not Bay's fault but OMFG I would've LOVED IT if Optimus just smashed the damned thing and said "Oops, my bad" in Bay's showcase exhibition video, lol.
XD

It should have ended with Primes foot stepping into shot and squashing the car flat with Primes voice booming "oops, my bad" and Micheal looking all worried at the camera and saying "Mr Yueting, Im really really sorry…."

Hmmmmmm Soundwave?
Hazekiah
Agreed!
But I beat you to it by almost two weeks, lol.

With so much grey it could be ROM
Hazekiah
So, yeah…I still wanna see it then.
It would actually be a pretty cool bonus feature for the DVD/BD, come to think of it.

So his presentation was literally three seconds long?
Red Goblin
He just said it was a beautiful car and thats it
Hazekiah
Really curious to see the video Bay filmed with it for the showcase.
tonyformer
Lol that title is very misleading. I read it as Bay was the one that caused the accident
Shark
Hey, at least it wasn't an accident on set!
