Transformers: The Last Knight Principal Photography in England will conclude this Sunday and Michael Bay and his crew will head to Namibia, South Africa to continue filming. Speaking via Facebook Live, the director hinted that the Teaser Trailer may arrive this November or December. Transformers: Dark Of The Moon teaser trailer also came December 2010. There are several notable movies which the new trailer may attach to. The list includes Moana, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Assassin’s Creed and Trolls; a movie where Hasbro is associated with to make toys.
Michael Bay also confirmed that John Turturro and John Goodman will be a part of Transformers 5. Of course, Autobot Hound was officially revealed and spotted numerous times on the set, so there is no surprise there. However, given that there is only less than two more weeks left for filming (as originally planned), John Turturro may not have a huge screentime.
Meanwhile, Brand Licensing Europe Expo 2016 came and went. Other than revealing several promotional artwork from the new movie, the expo did not reveal new toys or press releases. We now have a better look at Megatron, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.
Speaking of Bumblebee, his head was spotted on a placeholder pole which the actors use as a reference point when interacting with CGI characters that will be added later during post production (a.k.a Robot-On-A-Stick). It is unclear what sort of a scenario this will be. However, the backdrop suggests that it is a some sort of a castle.
An unidentified Human-Cybertronian Hybrid Weapon was also spotted on the set and this too without further info.
Talking about more official matters, Transformers Tuesday event on the official Facebook account for the movies, showcased the effort put by actors Josh Duhamel and Santiago Cabrera.
2005 Boards Member MattUncharted also got the opportunity to visit the London Set of Transformers: The Last Knight. He had loads of fun while there and you can check out his adventure on this thread.
The title and the image of this week’s Transformers 5 News Roundup is a tribute to Michael Bay’s pet dog Bonecrusher who passed way earlier this week. The director named him after his favorite Decepticon Cybertronian from the 1st movie and loved him immensely.
