Last week as a busy week for Transformers Fans. There was quite a lot of news from New York Comic Con 2016. Regarding Transformers Live Action Movies, first merchandise from the upcoming Transformers : The Last Knight was revealed. Furthermore, during the live panel, Hasbro representatives stated that 2017 begins the first year of three consecutive years of Transformers Movies at the cinema. In 2018 we will be treated to a movie featuring Bumblebee and in 2019 another Transformers movie.
LeEco‘s driverless car LeSEE was spotted on the set of Transformers 5. This came as a surprise since the principal photography featuring the main cast is nearly over by this point. This additional scene could very well be for a scene similar to Trumpchi e-Jet scene from Transformers: Age Of Extinctions where it was featured for brief moments for commercial purposes. We may learn more during the LeEco debut event on October 19th.
Speaking of additional scenes, TF5 2nd Unit has filmed scenes at the beautiful cliff location of Trolltunga, Norway. The crew declined to comment what sort of a scene they filmed.
Also, the crew returned to Bourne Wood, Englad to shoot scenes involving a siege. Among the props used is a gigantic Trebuchet which is a catapult like device used to throws boulders at enemies. Knights were also spotted at the scene.
Official Facebook account of Transformers Movie shared a behind-the-scenes video of a chase scene. The scene features Autobots Bumblebee, Hot Rod and the mysterious McLaren. And who is giving chase? It’s none other than Decepticon Barricade. You can check out the video here.
Finally, as principal photography of Transformers 5 is reaching its end, the cast and crew are looking back at the small journey they came and appreciate one another for the commitment they have given. For many months they stuck together as a family to get the job done and to deliver a good movie for all to enjoy. The cast is saying goodbye to each other and move onto go their separate ways but with the promise to meet each other next year during the promotional campaign for the movie. Isabela Moner and director Michael Bay shared cast photos featuring Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Josh Duhamel and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
