Thanks to the man himself, dalianjj, we have some pics of one of Fans Toys‘s many upcoming offerings in prototype form! This one is named Apache and is based off of none other than, Springer! Fans Toys does it yet again as they seem to have nailed yet another bot in terms of cartoon accuracy as Apache homages the beloved triple-changer, and features his rifle and sword. He’s also pictured standing alongside Masterpiece Ultra Magnus, MP-09 Rodimus, Fans Toys Tesla (Perceptor), and C80 Superalloy (Wheelie).
No pre-orders, price, nor release dates are known at this time, but stay tuned to TFW for more news on FT-19 Apache and more third party releases, and be sure to check out the pics after the jump!

He arrived! Unfortunately, he arrived on the last day of my vacation, so I probably won't open it until my day off. Not sure why I'm so hype, but it's my first FT figure, so I think excitement is mandatory.
Considering the last Springer figure I got was an absolute horrid QC factory reject and a waste of $150 (XTB Virtus), I can already tell that I'll be impressed with Apache.

I'm pretty sure it's from the silicone grease/oil used during assembly and when it suffocates in a sealed box for extended periods going through temperature changes, it causes it to sweat all over. Like the condensation effect.
I disagree, this is exactly what you want to do.

I took my Fans Toys figures out of storage recently and noticed many of them had a weird "sweat/slime" residue on them, seems to be some byproduct of the paint process … anyone know if this is normal, or if there is any toxicity issues I should worry abt?? thx

Congrats! It's a great figure, and especially for that price.
The only downside is it may result in you wanting to get more FT figures.

For the longest time, I've had this figure in the back of my mind, passing up opportunities to get it, but I ended up collecting Springers with Apache being the final 3P figure I need to get. This will be my first FT product and I think $100 would be more than a fair price for it. I'm going to get the reissue!

My personal fave Springer is Virtus. He just looks the part the most out of all Springers released. Runner up would be Occular Max Springer, he's definitely got the best playability out of them all too.

Hell, is it even possible for Springer to have a "good" car mode? I've got 5 different versions of that guy and they all suck.

But olny now I do my Springer corner in my collection

That post is from almost 6 years ago lol.

With this comparison you convinced me, that I do not want to get FansToys Springer. Car mode is too long.

Hello, I’m looking to part with these two as a set. Only transformed to adhere Toyhax labels and have been kept in a display case, no pets and smoke free. No issues that I’ve noticed and are both complete and with the original packaging.

I’m asking $280 for the set, including shipping from Japan. Please feel free to check my feedback thread linked in my profile. Thanks!

Even better.

At a reasonable price too.

And for those that want it really cheap, it can be found for 75-90 USD in Tabao at the moment.

The ankles seem to be looser on most of the reissues too

Ugh! ok thanks – i bought from aliexpress labeled as reissue, but the pic shows yellow. i'm asking about it.

Crest on head is yellow on the original release. The newer release is all green.

i'm considering getting apache and noticed they did a 2021 reissue – is there any benefit to getting that one over an older version?
