Via Comics Alliance, we have a look at a preview of next week’s second part of IDW’s Revolution crossover event. Revolution #2 sees Optimus Prime clash with Rom the Space Knight – and if that cover is anything to go by, they’ll be joined by masked crusaders, doing overtime, fighting crime! It’s the return of M-M-M-MASK!
Check out the preview, and be sure to pick up the full issue when it hits comic stores this coming week.

And Rom is suppose to listen too one of most hated alien spices in the galaxy because he's talking? If anything Rom has every right to kill Optimus in self defense for pointing his gun at him.
ZeroiaSD
Pointing a gun, sure, but also talking.
Megastar
Well the Cybertronian was pointing a gun at him and their bad reputation doesn't help matters.
Fallout
looks like jazz brought an arm-y
should've left that one at home…
ZeroiaSD
Jazz *still* doesn't have an arm back? C'mon, let the guy get fixed up!
And Rom, perhaps the 'hit first, then talk' method may not be the best method here, even if Cybertronians do have a reputation
captainnedloh
\"Jazz liked that left arm.\" Okay, I\'m on board with this now.

I don't know if you know this but Rom is a guy inside a suit of alien power armour that, like most sci-fi power armour gives him enhanced strength and abilities and all that, it's not like some regular dude just managed to knock Optimus on his ass. It's also pretty clear Rom didn't "throw around Optimus" so much as caught him off-guard with a rocket-powered shoulder-barge to the stomach so he could disarm Optimus, probably because he knows despite his enhancements he'd only last so long against a big ol' Cybertronian, so better get that massive gun out of his hand. I mean a fist isn't very big compared to the rest of a human but a hard gut punch is gonna knock anyone on their ass.

Rom is a cyborg mind you. So he's got to have some form of super strength. I view him as kind of a space terminator.
And part of the reason(I think) IDW did this was so they could be on more equal footing with Marvel and DC. Revolution is also just meant to bring everyone all to together and then after they all go back to their separate corners, while the series Revolutionaries ties them all together.
BB Shockwave
What a typical Mary Sue introduction to ROM, who despite being human-sized can just throw around Optimus of all people.
Seriously, IDW now has entered the dread territory of crossovers. Did they not learn from Marvel and DC that nothing good ever comes out of those?
Sockie
Victorion probably just flew them there with her gravity powers.
IaconStargazer
I've got some catching up to do with the Earth-based stuff, but can they now use space-bridge tech as sort of a Groundbridge? I understand Rom flying to that forest pretty quickly, but it being at least two hundred miles away from Portland makes me wonder how Optimus and the others got there so fast.
Megastar
The understanding will probably happen in the middle of the event after their tired of fighting each other, like in another other event.
Omegashark18
Going to be another awesome issue.
Perhaps some understanding between some of the parties will be reached. But more awesome fights is still good.
And now MASK will finally join the party.
