Via Newsarama we can share a preview of the upcoming Transformers #56! Titans Return continues, as Sentinel Prime assesses whether Optimus Prime can be an asset to his cause – and if (when?) things inevitably devolve into violence, Earth will be caught in the crossfire!
Check out the full preview, and be sure to pick this issue up when it hits comic stores.

…what happened to the quotes here?

I expect the comics will be written in such a way that if anybody skips a series, they will be confused with the series they are following.

I mean, they're still paying for it…with their lives

This is beautiful.

Be thankful he didn't demand a face first.

wait…. In the preview flash-back, did Optimus just kill……..?

Astrotrain doesn't have treads and the head doesn't match his at all, plus Miles Mayhem has nothing to do with the Mayhem faction nor Titan Masters. So nope.
Omegax80
I thought it was Astrotrain, since Arcee chopped him up in the last issue and the Mayhem faction scooped up the remains to rebuild him into one of their own Titan Masters.
Negativedark
It also makes his whole racism against beast Bots and the like hypocritical as heck thanks to the fact he's actually a freaking headmaster.
Oh, I needed that laugh.
In two pages I finally like IDW Alpha Trion. Hope he survives this. If nothing else I'd love to see more of the Camians reactions to an original Prime.
Oh and Sentinel isn't going to make the Decepticons pay for the wall. He's going to build it out of their dead bodies.

The one time Not-RID should have been released before MTMTE….oh well.
Sentinel Prime is so friggin great as a baddie.
Megastar
If you ask TFwiki, than he's Richard Nixon.

"I gave you a box of energon chips to paint my cyber-duck coop and you never did!"
"Those energon chips were lousy!"
"Paint my cyber-duck coop!"
"Make me!"

Thanks for the info guys!

I'm liking that Inifinitus is literally Sentinel the entire time. Partly because I always preferred the transtector idea and partly because it's a nice way of working in the toy without having to jam ANOTHER new character in
QLRformer
Interesting to see the two old bots Alpha and Sentinel lay into each other.

I'd say so, yea! Though it depends on your preferences.
The title initially known as Robots in Disguise, which then became The Transformers and is going to become Transformers: Optimus Prime, has a lot of political maneuvering and build-up of plots that lead to impressive finales. The main characters tend to be fairly big name ones.
As opposed to MtM, which has shorter arcs and quirky, lesser-known characters. Bigger cast, more humor.
Plus of course, they bump into each other in events and such. They're sister books to an extent.
WoundSave
I would say yes absolutely. Depends on your tastes ultimately buy I have enjoyed every issue since number 1 of each respective series.
MTMTE is the zany space opera, rich in details, at times comedic and other times heart wrenching and tragic.
EXRID is a slow burn, full of political intrigue and unsteady alliances. It's focus is now on Optimus' team on earth.
Scott's contributions (windblade series x2 and now TAAO) was a little simplistic at first, but her current ongoing is 3 issues in and hiring hard. Picking up on cybertron where Barber left off.
And definetly check out both the wreckers mini series.
I think it is worth reading all the comics IDW is putting out right now – they are a cohesive universe, each with their own flavor but ultimately paying off of each other for a very rewarding experience.

Daily reminder that IDW Sentinel Prime is basically Dio "Trump" Brando
kyPRIME
i believe in you Sentinel, make Cybertron great again
