It's Aileron, a new character who's been around for a while now. Her design is partially inspired by Crasher though.
Mako Crab
Is that supposed to be Crasher?

agreed about rebranding and continous rebooting, but.. sometimes, solo adventures are refreshing; I don't mean they should write just the "Spotlight" series; much depends on what the writer says and how he/she says that; at the end, what is more important than anything else is always the story! However, Transformers continuity is quite fractured, maybe we need another regular series, maybe two, to focus on one faction, or one trouble, or one environment. The old approach is good for the classic "bots vs cons in universal war" mode; it would make us able to recover lost characters and expand the continuity furtherly

No, he's leaving to take a break from Transformers and work on other stuff.

Please please please tell me that Griffith is going to be the new permenant "event" artist so that "big" events like Dark Cybertron and Combiner Wars will now actually have art that makes them feel like big events ?

Yeah, I hate the solo character take on TF comic series just like I hated them doing a solo Snake-Eyes series for GI Joe. TF and Joe both work best as ensemble pieces and I have zero interest in anything that centers around a single character. Hopefully, it's just the title, and remains an ensemble focus book, but even then, like you say, it's a lazy title.
IDW has been doing a good job with Transformers overall for most of their time with the franchise, and I'd hate to see them dilute the brand and completely lose their way as they have with GI Joe, with all of its re-brandings and complete changes of direction to drastically diminishing returns. IDW's GI Joe is now a complete write-off other than Hama's RAH, and I'd hate to think Transformers might be approaching their final descent as well.

All the more reason for him to try to "un-taint" it, and his new-found love of humanity doesn't mean he's going to take off the badge when it plays into what he believes the Decepticons to be all about: equality. I don't think he's need in of much reminding of why he joined.
Megastar
Because the Decepticon brand is tainted and Optimus has opened his eye to humanity, but maybe Sentinel will remind him way he became a Decepticon.
Sockie
Why would he? He still very much considers himself a Decepticon. He just has a more peaceful vision for the faction.

Shouldn't Soundwve be a Autobot or non-affiliated at this point?
