Well, this is certainly a surprise. Transformers: Robots In Disguise Decepticon Island Showdown 2-Pack was on display just few weeks ago at San Diego Comic Con 2016.
Already, member Paulbot from fellow site Ozformers spotted the new 2-Pack in Australia.
The packaging is based on the Clash Of Transformers line and the set features Bumblebee and Steeljaw Warrior Class). The pack also contains several weapons featured on the episode of the same name and two stasis pods.
Check out more info at Ozformers.

Saw this today in store

I love the idea that Hasbro is releasing something they don't normally do and that's in show props outside of weapons etc. I just wish they could release them with maybe new Decepticons or Minicon packs cause that way they could still probably sell if not better if they were included with new characters.

I like this set. I don't have either of the figures yet, so to get them and a stasis pod would be great. I hope it turns up here and at a reasonable price!
Seeaich
I wonder if that stasis pod will fit inside one of Fort Max's legs?
Hicks_Royel
Agreed. But larger and without the other junk.
Lovecraft
Damn. All they had to do was give them better paint.
I'd pay a whole 10 bucks more if Bee and Steeljaw had premium paintjobs. Some tron lines on Steeljaw, his full feet and claws painted, BUMBLEBEE'S MOLDED CHEST DETAILS (It's literally two drops of blue and gray HasTak. This mold has been realeased 9 fucking times now and not one has painted those faux lights.), and some colors on the weapons/pods would have been gravy.
But as cool as it is, I'm not buying doubles of the toys I already own just to have some plain plastic, albeit neat, accessories.
I'd have shilled out 50 USD on this if only it had nicer paint. Your loss, Hasbro.

An old pic from work:

As of today, the price is the same, they're just in stock at the DC instead of pending.
MrSoundmeister
Yeah, but then you have to take the cost of the stasis pod packaging, i have a hunch it's pricey if it's durable. But if Bionicle could do it… Transformers can.
Pravus Prime
… Really? It's TRU, I was honestly expecting $59.99 or thereabouts. That's actually quite reasonable.
Ratchets Hatch
That moment when a grey cylinder is more exciting than the robot action figures it comes with.
I still kinda want this though, especially since I own neither Bee nor Steeljaw.
Hasbro should have packed all the RID Deluxes INSIDE stasis pods. Hell, the cardbacks and bubbles cost money to make, and they just get thrown away. This was a perfect opportunity to make the packaging part of the toy in a way that ties into the show, and they mucked it up.
Prime135
Wait that set is $79.99 AUD ($61.99 USD)???? Does hasbro Australia hate selling toys or something?!?!?
DOTM Bumblebee
That last bit is sigged.
Fallout
i was hoping for $10, but $40 is fair. $30 for two deluxes and $10 plus weapons and a bigass stasis pod is worth it.
is there anyway to give the open box away if everything except the stasis pod is there? i don't think toys for tots would take it
Prime135
$39.99 at current retail
Pravus Prime
The set is a bit tempting as I don't have either figure, so getting them both, the stasis, and the ton of weapons is a deal if the price is right. (Which I doubt it will be.)
But I guess I'll wait and see what it's US price is and if TRU puts it on sale. Patience and time will see.
Fallout
hey fandom, let's all agree to be super cool and not take the stasis pods and then return the set? i know the people doing that are a minority, but please don't be a dick over children's toys
Hanzkaz
I really only want the stasis pod, or at the very least they could have changed the deco for Bumblebee and Steeljaw.
Lord Dcast
Huh…I saw those two days ago when I went to TRU to get some Titan Masters. I had no idea this was a thing.
Still don't really want them though.
MrSoundmeister
It's not like it's that easy… Hmmm, maybe it they bundle them with the figures… as bonus weapons? Perhaps in clear plastic.
