Newsarama has updated with a preview of the upcoming More than Meets the Eye issue 56. This issue is the first of two that tie in to the Titans Return story arc which kicks off in the Titans Return one-shot, and then runs through issues 56 and 57 of Transformers and More than Meets the eye. One thing to note – IDW is publishing More than Meets the Eye 56 first, which as a result means the previously page has a few spoilers for key moments of Transformers 56 in the previously section. We’ve taken the call not to mirror that page so you are not spoiled.
Check out the preview attached to this post.

Issue in hand.
The spoiler, as such, isn't repeated but I think ex RiD 56 needs to be read first as
it's obvious things have happened between the one shot and this issue.
Argus
Thanks for F-ing over everyone…..sad
CelticMutt
Not really getting how he looks like Blurr. But Hot Rod … yeah, he looks like Hot Rod with a light bar instead of a spoiler.
Zenstrive
Huh, Red Alert looks more like Blurr or Hot Rod in alt mode than Chromedome.
Nocturne
It makes me a little sad that no one has mentioned the art yet. Priscilla has done an amazing job! Everything is so atmospheric and moody, and I love it~
Love the panel with the oil oozing from poor Red's eyes.

Wow…Just Wow.
BRAVO IDW.

Chromedome remold?

Thanks grindcore138!

Outrigger is 'bot on Luna 1, a member of the Circle of Light who stayed behind after MTMTE #21/22.
"Titaneering" is a portmanteau of 'Titan' and 'Orienteering'.
Cerebros was expecting Outrigger to be with Fort Max at the Spacebridge, instead he's off exploring the Titan Graveyard. You can probably infer that Outrigger makes the "Titaneering" joke every time he heads out to explore, which is why Fort Max says "sorry, "Titaneering"".
kmc
Yes, I Googled but I still don't get the idea. Why are Cerebros and Max throwing out these things, apparently joking?
Bass X0
You have google, don't you?
kmc
Can anyone explain what "outrigger", "orienteering" and "titaneering" are (in the last page of the preview)? Thanks!

A) That cover suggests a conversation will be had. Max tends to chat with his fists when pissed so I'm hoping for another AHM Coda throwback when he twats him one.
B) I'm enjoying how Red Alert centric this is so far. High hopes for, if not a revelation, then some dangling bait to lead us into Lost Light.
Nez Pierce
Two things: I wonder if Fort Max is still pissed at Prowl over the whole Garrus 9 trauma, and I wonder if we will find out more about Red's shadow play incident.

Zarak's been and gone in the IDW continuity. Plus there hasn't been a new Zarak toy by Hasbro so no reason to bring him back.
Transformers fiction has always been mandated by Hasbro when it suits them to do so. The main Transformers comic is the one Hasbro uses to sell toys. They leave MTMTE (now Lost Light) pretty much alone (except when the Protectobots were required to return to Cybertron to participate in Combiner Wars).

Anyone arguing with Sockie.
You're wrong.
nstanosheck
This is really interesting. I wonder if we're getting a Red Alert Headmaster/Titans Return Deluxe?
Sockie
When did IDW ever say that TR wouldn't impact anything? We've known all of the books would be tying in for ages now.
3.8TransAM
Dear Hasbro.
You dumb jackoffs, leave one title alone and keep you stupid mandate bullshit out of it.
IDW, thanks for lying to us and saying it would be okay and not impact stories(not that I think anyone believed them).
Wreck the ones that are halfassed already please.
YoungPrime
Once they revealed that he was of Cybertronian origin "Head Master" was the initial thought. Either that or the lost brother of Rumble and Frenzy.
I'm just glad that he isn't being retconned as Lord Zarak!
