Third party group Ocular Max have become the latest third party manufacturer of unofficial transforming robots to offer up a Masterpiece style version of the Autobot engineer Hoist. Artifex, as he is known, stands approximately the same height as the officially released Masterpiece Ironhide, and is looking to fit in with Masterpiece collections as a good stand-in until an official one arrives. Check him out in these images courtesy of TFW2005 member unicron nemesis.

wouldn't mind getting another one and repaint it as Lift Ticket, have the XTB Hoist so would like a different mold for Lift Ticket.

Did you try TFaource and BBTS?
Darthmarto
yeah i dont love that design……
So nowhere else that does spares?
I think i did hit up chosen prime and some places but cant remember. Might try again. Show Z and MMC definitely dont have it
Tazman66gt
@Darthmarto yep, both sides of mine broke off, I know some of it was me because I have Terreagis Offroad and I have yet to have an issue with that one. But some of it is how those panels have to slide and flex around one another to get them where they need to go.
Darthmarto
its the back of the leg. The part of the door that swings around. Has too little very small bits of plastic to hold it unfortunately.

Curious what parts? Ebay or the selling forum any luck?
Darthmarto
I know this is an old thread but thought I’d throw out there
Anywhere know where I can find some spares for this guy? Mmc don’t have them anymore they said
Tazman66gt
would definitely go for that.
Hicks_Royel
Not too late to make a red and/or blue version, MMC.

Yeah?

Just got Artifex and the leg panel broke during second transformation. Bot pegs holding the panel snapped clean off.
I repaired it by drilling a hole were the pegs should be and using thread to loosely tied the panel back on. Still transforms too!

I certainly overstressed it. Badly engineered may be harsh. I find Artifex's transformation challenging and interesting, but I also think that the toy feels fragile and I think especially the leg-transformation is stressful. I broke it off because one of the panels slid over the other in the wrong way and I couldn't make heads nor tails anymore of how I should move them relative to each other.
At the end of the day Artifex is my favorite Hoist design of all the options available. I had some bad luck yesterday when transforming him. Pity, but like I said: luckily he's cheaply replaced.
Tazman66gt
broke both leg panels off of mine as well. acting like it isn't an issue because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
nemesisconvoy
Because I don't thin it's a wide spread issue. Either you got a bad one or you could have over stressed it.
Windsweeper II
And you thought you'd share that information because?
nemesisconvoy
I've hand mine since it release and and transformed it multiple time with no issues.
Windsweeper II
Just broke that annoying part of his right leg. This toy id badly engineered, but he looks good.
When is Takara stepping in?
On the other hand, It would be cheaper to just buy a new OM Hoist
kmopotato
Show head is black, and the 2 green heads should be 2 different toy heads
nemesisconvoy
Why is there a gray head and 2 different style green heads?!?
gibdozer
Or the AOD KO it's down to about 20$.

I would suggest swapping out your Powerglide for DX9 version
