Transformers: The Last Knight social media marketing campaign is in full swing. Almost every single day, we hear something. For those who missed all the action due to TFCon, SDCC and CybertronCon, here’s a quick summary:
Mark Wahlberg was spotted on multiple occasions with some interesting stuff. Not to spoil you, but the most noticeable item would be a sword. In fact it looks as though it’s the same sword as the one on the title of this very movie. If JoBlo article is correct (at this point there is no doubt since almost 80% of what they told was spotted during filming), then this could be the legendary Excalibur of King Arthur. He was also seen with a new Cybertronian Gun and falling/thrown out of Bumblebee.
Speaking of which, we have the best look yet of his vehicle mode and he was also seen with Drift. Another appearance was Autobot Sqweeks, putting on his gameface, ready to jump out of an airplane.
Decepticon Onslaught was officially revealed a couple of days ago and the Transformers Social Media Team seems to be hinting that other Combaticons will appear as well. But take that with a grain of salt for now.
Laura Haddock was also spotted wearing a wetsuit for a mysterious underwater scene and giving a big hug to Cade Yeager.
Location scouting is still going on for TF5 with the Board of Water and Light’s Eckert Power Plant being considered as a possible filming location. Transformers 5 promo banner has started appearing on other places, specifically at movie theaters. Boards member belppeppers made sure to take a very detailed, piece-by-piece photograph of the one in California.
Last but certainly not the least, we have Director Michael Bay who apparently used a Selfie Stick for the first time in his life. He made sure (under the pressure from the Social Media Marketing Team, no doubt) to give fans a full 10 minute long behind the scenes video live on Facebook. In addition to that, we were treated with a short clip of complete Beyhem.
All the discussions are going on at our Transformers Movie Forum. You should join in and let your opinion be heard. Have a great weekend, folks.
