Regarding the women argument, I fear that I may not have been clear in my response regarding women; aside from strength and power (force displayed quickly) a women has the potential to do almost anything a man can do just as well. War and combat is VERY broad so I wouldn't paint in that big of a brush.
Regarding Combiner Wars: it's awesome I love it I am looking forward to more of it

Here's hoping the next episode completely turns it around somehow, against all odds.

Not a good start whatsoever. The animation was ok but the voice acting is abysmal.

Well, in the next 24 hours part two will come up !! Im excited to see the next eps !

I thought the first episode was horrible. I was trying to be positive, but the way the combiners were treated as single entities instead of 5-6 characters that can combine into one big guy… Ugh.. We'll see how it goes but a good beginning it was not…
LigerPrime
While women can be as an intelligent and capable than men and may occasionally kick a man's butt but its a different story when it comes to areas like war and combat.
Don't take it from me but these were the POV of Jude Eden who was an ex-female marine(?). Feel free to go and google her.
That's one of the reasons why my country don't require women to enlist unlike men.
This. The combiners seems like bunch of pansies – from what I saw being a combiner only makes a TF a bigger target! X)

Sorry, but that is not true at all. Yay, social justice and everything, but that is unequivocally false. We've seen people complain for years on end when a new "I can do anything" male character gets foisted on us and rammed down the fandom's throat. I don't even have to say a name because everybody knows the example I'm talking about.
The problem isn't the gender of the character. It's the fact that we're told these combiners are such a big threat that they laid waste to an entire planet. Then a character comes in and basically one-hit-kills the combiner. So how are we supposed to take the combiners seriously? And since the story is supposed to be about them, how are we supposed to take anything seriously?

Thanks for the links.
The Machinima 1st ep vid wasn't to my liking. I'm trying to not be so harsh on it, since it was made to be free to watch. And at 5 minute episodes, there really isn't much time to develope story and characters.
I didn't have a problem with Windblade being an overpowered fembot. Whenever a male character is overpowered, nobody would complain about that. As if it's somehow more plausable or something. In transformer media, as well as non-transformer related stories, you have a long history of smaller weaker characters that somehow are able to take down bigger foes that possess much greater raw strength. Usually due to superior speed, skill, weapons, and other advantages. Heck, in the Transformers animated movie, rumble/frenzy is able to negate the Devastator threat by doing their ground pound thing.

Okay, I wasn't going to watch it, but curiosity got the better of me.
That was disappointing. Like, seriously disappointing. The voice acting was terrible, the animation choppy and the overall feel more akin to a low-end fan-made show than something made to be serious.
Yeah, one strike and you're out.
Rob
Pretty much nailed the entire female argument there perfectly
GR1ML0CK
Why does any of that have to be gender specific? Why does it matter if the lead is male or female? Women can do the same shit as men except men can lift more weight
KOtron
I thought you were trying to say "For combiners… They sure got taken down stupidly easy…..especially menasor"
Which I totally agree. Fucking stupid one bot taking down a combiner.. jog on machinima
Stepper
It sure is a surprise to me either for that Combiner is being defeated so easily.
LigerPrime
Blast you 'auto-correct'! I meant 'shouldn't…I was surprised by the way that particular Combiner was defeated. It shouldn't have been that way.
The way they portrayed Wingblade (?) is dangerously close to a Mary Sue.
Is it me or are franchises that used to be 'boys' toys' being feminised?First it was Star Wars Episode VII, then its the Ghost Busters and now we have a seemingly lead female character in TF? What are the companies going to do next…give Ken the 'spot-light' in Barbie and encourage boys to play the toys? X)
ma70er
Should or shouldn't?
LigerPrime
Not going to spoil it for those who haven't watched but all I can say is that for Combiners…they should got taken down stupidly easy…I'm referring to the Decepticon one.
Bass X0
Thats not the problem. Its everything else.
Fenrys
We knew it was going to be short episodes from nearly the beginning
Nightrain
Yeah. I'd really like an explanation for this.

It's the god damn internet. If you don't like spoilers, get off.
Also, it's not only on YouTube. It's on Go90, where it's being hosted.
