A listing has been added to Amazon for a new Transformers Trade Paperback – or in this case, the moniker “collected comics” might be appropriate. This is for the awaited Transformers Classics UK Volume 6.
There’s scant details on what is in the volume – all we know is it is clocking in at 368 pages, and is due out in January 24, 2017. It will probably finish off the IDW reprints of the Marvel UK Transformers stories, though until we get a final confirmation of what is in, anything is possible. Watch this space for more information.

There's been no announcement, that I know of. There's this title and a couple Joe titles I've been watching get delayed/rescheduled several times over the past year +.
I suppose there's hope as long as it's being rescheduled…
Omegax80
Was there reason for delay?
stad
It's currently re-scheduled for Nov 14th. I just have it in my Wish List on CheapGraphicNovels.com, so I can easily see where it and the TF title are rescheduled, or if they actually come out.
I just assume it's going to be (yet again) rescheduled whenever it's due date comes up. It'll be a surprise when it actually does drop.

Aaaaaaaannnndd Amazon just canceled my GI Joe HC #9 order. Sucks bc I had that locked in at $30 USD.
You suck IDW. How hard is it just to give a straight forward answer and say it's canceled like other books you've done in the past?
stad
Correct. It hasn't come out yet, it keeps getting delayed. There's a GI Joe HC I've been following that's doing the same thing, since spring of last year.

Wow…

Amazon says out of print… so it never came out?
stad
It's been delayed yet again. Current date is Jan 9th.

Is this not being published anymore?

I guess vol. 7 for #215-254 + Annual 91
Vol. 8 all of Earthforce (#255-289) + Annual 92

Awesome find! Now there are preliminary contents, too. Up to #214 which should end the color run.
Well what's left are pretty much the 5 small digests that Titans released. Those were about 80 pgs each. Depending if Vol. 6 has Annuals (even if none are listed yet), there's a chance they could do a one and done for the B&W stuff. 2 more is very possible though.

No, another 2 volumes to go IIRC

For someone who is out of the loop, will this sixth volume wrap up all of the U.K Transformers stories? I've been thinking about getting these since I have always been curious about them, but I don't want to invest in the other volumes if IDW isn't going to release the entire story.

id actually would like to see this too. Would be the only way to get me to buy these books again
mcluskyism
Problem with doing that is then it wouldn't have any of the edits made to the US reprints in the UK comic for story content.

I forgot to mention hardback, too.
One, rather expensive option is to get all of these softback collected comics, make a meticulous page order (using the online guide and using the current page numbers from the books) and send them to one of those online/bricks and mortar book-binding places. These places usually make custom books from scratch and/or rebind and restore old books. I'm sure you could send them all of your books, and her them to rebind them into a hardbacked book, with custom cover. You could even pop the original covers and those writers' notes that interspersed the books at the end, as a survival feature.

The funny thing is, a lot of the dodgy older scans you have of the Marvel UK TF comics are probably ones I did years ago. And now the nicer scans in the IDW Classics UK books are exactly the same comics I'm scanning again, but with a lot of clean up work done on them.
No plans to colour the uncoloured b&w stories, but the coloured versions [Big Shutdown, Carnivac saga] will most likely be used if volume 7 happens.

IDW does give DRM free copies with digital purchases, so theoretically one could take the pages from everything and put them in UK order to read on an ereader/tablet. You'd love things like guided view, and it would take forever but it is feasible. At least more feasible than IDW doing hardback collections. I'm sure major cause of the delays on the UK Classics series is that this is such a low priority/low profit project that we are actually lucky it exists in the first place.

The B&W stuff from #215-289 totals 375 pages so it'll not fit in v6 with a total of 368 pages with also #180-213 & annuals 4-7
