We’re continuing with our galleries of the new Titans Return line with a look at the new Legends class Wheelie!
The wild boy of Quintesson gets a sharp and animation accurate robot mode for this release, with a good all-round level of poseability. The shoulders tend to pop out at certain angles, otherwise the poseability is pretty adequate. The vehicle mode is on point, and seats a Titan Master which is cool. Unfortunately the arms don’t peg in perfectly, at least on mine, so the vehicle has a few slight gaps in it around the window area.
All in all, he’s a good little toy. Not perfect, but a good and fun toy. Check out our gallery and see what you think.

The good news is that they don't discriminate against the blind when hiring for the factory. Quality paint work right there
Stepper
Sol Fury, beautiful shots, great pictures. Titan Return Wheelie is one of the best Wheelie made among all the past Wheelie.
Shin-Gouki
Hasbro forgot the last step in transforming him. Pop off the lower legs and swap them so he can stand right.
That said I have him right where Optimus put him after he asked "Who the fuck is this Autobot?!" I have him guarding the base. (Fort Max)
Deadend
Ooooh. I'm excited for Clobber's gallery now then!
mjdvm2013
Seems like this guy is out of stock everywhere. Anyone know where I could pick him up online? Probably won't see him out this way, still waiting for the tail end of the combiner line to hit.
Fenrir Zero
I don't know what is weirder: The fact that I really, really TakaraTomy's redeco for this character… The fact it actually me like this figure… Or the fact that I wish I had some TANG.
Anywho…
Whatever you do. WHATEVER YOU DO!!! Once you get your hands on Clobber, do not put it besides Mr. T's Rocky III figure (if you have one).
Murasame
Happy I have the Takara version on pre-order. Prefer the cartoon accurate deco. But I would also be happy if I had the Hasbro version, it looks also great. And definitely glad I did not buy the old legends toy. A few times I was tempted at biting at the aftermarket. But he always went for horrendous prices and the new version just fits better in a classics collection.
Autobot Burnout
They laughed at me when I bought GDO Wheelie (well not really but nobody really liked that toy as Wheelie).
But now, I have TR Wheelie AND the GDO Slingshot combined. BOW BEFORE ME YOU INSIGNIFICANT WORMS, FOR NOW I HAVE…A $10 TOY WITH A BLUE Y-SHAPED WEAPON.
*ahem*
But seriously this toy is freakin' amazing. Not perfect, obviously, but goddamn this thing sets the new gold standard for robot modes.
MWG
I suspect Wheelie, Galvatron, Scourge, and Blurr were all initially planned for a short line of 86 movie updates which would've been between CW and TR (also explaining why there was such a long gap of releases between the last CW wave hitting in like February and the TR stuff just hitting at the start of July). But somehow that got nixed and they were reworked for the Titans Return line.

It's amazing how they took a really hated character and made a very fine looking toy out of him.
Nerdling
Best Wheelie EVER.
It's funny, I've only bought Galvatron and Wheelie so far, but it's been Wheelie who's made me smile from cheek to cheek. He's the one character over the years that just has not been done right. That deluxe Jazz repaint is awful, and the little crappy legends update he got was a disgrace.
HIM WHEELIE! HIM FRIEND! That's what I thought when I saw that picture of him riding Grimlock.
Ash from Carolina
Found the figure today at a Target and just could not say no.
He looks much nicer with the other robots than the previous releases. Very much the little guy look from the cartoon. The slingshot from the deluxe sized Wheelie actually looks much nicer with this new release so it is a bit of a shame that Hasbro could not spring for including it with the figure.
Very happy with the figure and almost a must to go with things like new the new Blurr figure and the Ultra Magnus Hasbro released. All we now is a more cartoon accurate Kup and Grimlock to have that crew.

I'd be cool if for Hubcap…Hasbro / Takara…took the Movie-verse Hubcap…and…gave him a G1 noggin…or…once Bumblebee gets his new legends figure…Hasbro / Takara take the Generations Bumblebee…remould with new dome…and…maybe tossin a cyber-pistol…
Interesting…I'd love to see a retooling as Moonracer…if the WFC Cliff/Bee retooling happened instead…may-haps we'd be blessed by Primus himself to get Tapout…and…Glyph…as repaints/retools…
DocSeth81
looks really good. I think i'll be trading in my GDO Wheelie for this one
Smashs
Beautiful shots as usual, Sol.
Time to sell Ollie.
Lio Kaiser
Still waiting for a new Brawn/Outback, and a Hubcap (possibly even from Bumblebee/Cliffjumper), as well as Beachcomber and Seaspray (though if we never get a Seaspray, I'd be okay with using the Voyager from a few years ago). Other than those five, we've gotten pretty decent, if not great updates of the Minibots from 84, 85 and 86.
Unfortunately, with the Brawn Titan Master, we're less likely to get a decent Legends Class Brawn anytime soon, but I still hold out hope for Beachcomber at least.

Cost cutting hurt this one in a subtle way…
Wheels and windscreen are made in the same plastic…because they wouldn't spring for a paint app for the wheels, they had to make the transparent plastic very dark…
Which makes for weird looking wheels and spoils the effect of having a Titan Master in the driver's seat since you can't see the lil' bastard.
Mold the wheels In a different plastic…or leave them more transparent and paint on hubcaps…either solution would have made a much more appealing toy.
Otherwise, I dig wheelie…but that kinda sucks.
Sol Fury
Clobber's not made it to me yet, otherwise I'd have probably stuck him in Wheelie instead of Nightbeat. I only get things when they're available like the rest of you guys
rosewater
Yeah, I think he fits in just fine. I'm super glad that they didn't try to make him a triple changer. The end result is the nicest looking official Wheelie we've ever gotten.
