Last month, Director Michael Bay announced that as a move to promote World’s Loneliest Dog to get adopted, he will feature Freya in the upcoming Transformers movie (If not adopted, he will take Freya as his own).
Happy news, everybody. The director has announced that Freya has finally found a home. Ray and Jackie Collins from Greater Manchester has come to take her. Bay’s office has told Daily Mail and BBC that the director was “delighted to hear that Freya has a loving home”.
“Finally Freya will be part of a family who can provide a stable home where she can enjoy her life to the full. We couldn’t be happier for her.”
Although Freya’s adoption papers are being signed this week, the publication also reported that Michael Bay is ‘staying good on his word’ to give the pooch a role in the Transformers: The Last Knight.

I don't like Michael Bay films but I really liked what he did for the dog.

His movies my or may not be your cup of tea, but things like this make me respect Michael Bay as a human being! I love dogs and it always makes my day feel a bit happier to see a story like this!

Glad to hear the dog is doing well! I still think Michael Bay is a pretty terrible person and this seems a lot like a PR thing, but I'm glad a dog was rescued.
soundwaverulls
Glad to hear it.

Great news! I can't stand Bay or his movies but surely we can all agree this is a good thing regardless of how cynical his motivations may or may not have been. I'm fairly convinced his interest in finding Freya a home was genuine myself.

"I'd rather the dog never get a loving home than Bay get one second of positive attention!"
Jeebus, people. The dog got a home. It's a good thing.

Give me a fucking break. She was called "the loneliest dog in the world" in a newspaper headline before she had anything to do with the films. That was what brought her to Bay's attention. He loves dogs and did a nice thing. Jesus fuckin' Christ.

I feel like the lonliest dog in the world is a bit of over dramatic title cause theres dogs that suffered more things than here likely also this feels like an way to use people's emotions to watch his movieson like afterburner said

I may not care for Bay or his movies, but I recall reading someplace that he is an animal advocate. So I believe this was genuine on his part, and good on him for helping this beautiful fur baby out.
That being said, I'll still wait until TLK airs on cable.

It's a good gesture on Bay's part. I may not like his movies, but I can genuinely give them kudos for giving her a good home.

Makes sense since Bay really does love dogs.

I for one am happy she got a home and I hope it's a forever home for her. I also can't wait to see her in the movie.
