love Windblade in NURID, one of the shows highlights for me
Thinktank
I hoped it was only a rumor.

But NuRiD WB also was written by Scott. And it turned much better this time.
Either way, be it Drift, Windblade or any other character, if a bot is supposed to be a centerpiece of the book the character must be really interesting. Quiet and non-exaggerated personalities are perfectly realistic and fine. But not as a leading force of any book.
Probe
Well, it's on their shipping list for tomorrow and still has active listings for future issues, so it'd be super weird of it did

I heard today that Diamond Distributing has dropped this title. Anyone else hear of this?
Autovolt 127
I actually like that too.
Him being the rubber band is great.

Windblade's problem is she is about as interesting as paint drying in Scott's hands. It is like with Drift in the Emperor of Stone and he is boring as all hell. My feeling with right author Windblade can be interesting the way Roberts made Drift interesting. Right now Windblade is like when Drift coming out there is no nuance to the character. The actual time Windblade is done interesting is the RID the cartoon.

The cover art is great. The interior art is horrendous.

I love that the moment Onslaught is hip to the true situation, he essentially looked at the others and said (off-panel) "We March."

One thing I love about the current status quo is that Starscream finally got what he wanted–he's the big man in charge of everybody–but that it's turning out to be nothing like he wanted it to be.
Autobot Hound
Lol, all good points.
I think the answer may be both.
Love Onslaught being Onslaught and looking before he leaps.
LOL I noticed that too. I am definitely interested in what's up there. Don't know if they're actually a ship or if Blast Off just really admires Onslaught, but I always found it interesting that he's supposed to be a total snob about anyone who isn't a spacecraft and yet here he is, happily following a groundbound TRUCK and he gushes profusely about Onslaught's brilliant leadership in the cartoon. So… yeah. I hope that might get looked into. Maybe we'll even find out why they came together and what keeps them together even after all this time?
Definitely loving all the Combaticon scenes so far. They seem right. Not just simple stupid thugs or buffoons like they've been portrayed previously in IDW but have that "what if the A-Team were the bad guys" interesting vibe going on. And Sarah's art is fantastic.
RIDRuination
Sarah is gonna kill me with all the Blast=Off/Onslauight shipping she's gonna do in this God I can't wait
Bathawk
Really curious about the Combaticons and how they are unlimately going to fit in IDW. in the past they have been
And i liek the fact that Onslought is a thinker, definitely not one of those "fools rush in" types
But look at what he has to work with
So Onslaught is either a brilliant leader on par with Prime and Megatron. Or he's a rubber band trying to hold a stick of dynamite tpgether
GitGudGabe
I'm just glad to finally see the combaticons in idw not being redshirts. I mean, we saw snippets of brawl ,and loads of swindle, but the boys are back in town!
Autovolt 127
It's continuing to show promise.
Haywired
If you gonna wrap a series around a one character then better it will be a personality enough to carry it. Otherwise, oh well… *shrug*
The idea never was good enough to succeed, given how even big canon names couldn't carry entire ongoings which is why two other IDW series have ensemble cast.
PepsimusP
Hmm… a specific minority of the population that is angry about how the police are treating them, and how the police seem to get away with it. Riots and looting commence…
Nope, doesn't sound like anything in our modern times.

Megastar
And there the needless whining about Windblade.
Negativedark
Maybe he's secretly as obsessed with Earth TV Shows as Swerve?
