I had fun Sunday, good to meet (and re-meet) some of you guys. I went to sell but ended up buying more than I usually do. I went in with eyes on Crash Hog and snagged it from 215. (Thanks Tony!) I wasn't planning on getting Dumpyard, but my buddy won it in a raffle, didn't want it, but was eyeballing some stuff on my table… easy trade. I then found out that the Dumpyard was also provided by 215. Thanks again Tony! And right next to him was Bobby Skullface, who was very hard to recognize out of his on-screen gear. I picked up this print and couldn't be happier:
As for the parking, it looked like the car lot next door used the hotel lot for overspill. There was barely any parking when I got there at 7, and I heard people complaining about it all day.
I think the show could stand a bigger room… not necessarily more dealer space, but just as a way to get folks out of the lobby. Who knows, the lobby presence might be serving as a draw for passersby. Either way, big props to Fran for the reorganizing of the table arrangement. So much more walking room!
Big thanks to everyone who stopped by my table, and a double helping of thanks to those that bought something.

Actually it's not bad, just alittle loose. Can't really hold the sword on it's own, but what can you accept from a ko.
Orodruin
You gave me the idea and I just ordered that same KO Saber on ebay last night after I get home. Hope it's decent.

Well that's why I didn't see you then, I won't be there come November probably and I doubt I'll make a show next year. Maybe I'll try and make one in 2018, good luck to you in November though.

I got there at 7am then left at 9am. I went straight to church then came in the afternoon. I stayed for an hour and left. Picked up a KO Fate Stay Night Saber. That's it. But still had a good time. Will for sure be there all day in November.

Hey, I didn't see ya I went into the dealer room in the morning to see if you were in there and then I was at my table for the rest of the day.
In fact I didn't see a lot of the usual guys.
I don't think moving to something bigger would be better at all and the parking had been a problem in the past when the hotel had been filled for a wedding. I don't know why the hotel was so full this time but I'm betting it was the cause why parking was so bad.
I finally got to meet a few new TFW members which was really cool to put a face with a TFW screen name. My table had the Purple table cloth on it and I was across from the registration table. Hopefully everyone that came by to buy something got a good deal as I was willing to work with anyone that was interested in something.
That will probably be my last show as I'm kinda done with this hobby, I'll toss what I have left up here on the boards for a couple of months and what doesn't sell will be put into storage for god knows how long.
Great seeing everyone and a HUGE thanks to Fran and his crew for putting on another AWESOME show!

Had a great time at the show. 215Toyz awesome as always. Good to see Bobby Skullface and the ROC representing at the show!

I think I was in on this conversation with Fran as well. As you said, he would like to do a bigger show, but there are factors that prevent this right now. Hopefully, that will change down the road.
Still a fun show, and I had a good time!
A big shout out to 215 Toyz for the hookup with the awesome deals and freebies to boot! Extremely nice, and I would gladly buy from again!
Again a great show all around, and I'm looking forward to the November show!

Great show as always. Was a bit irritated to see that Grim's toy show guy with the $200 fort maxes when someone else in the room had them for $145. Maybe, just maybe if you're going to go to every NJCC and make videos bitching about scalpers, you yourself shouldn't do it.

I feel like a space double in size would be perfect. The vendors in the hall could move into the same space as the other vendors. From a buyer perspective it just seemed like I was in and out way too fast. I am happy to say that the vendor quality of product was excellent, I would just like to see more. As for another location, there are quite a few hotels in that area that have ballrooms. Not sure how they compare in terms of price and such, but they are around.
Orodruin
That came up in conversation with Fran late in the show today. He's been looking around to see if there's a bigger venue in the area, but there just isn't one that's available. If you know of one, tell him.
There's also the risk of the show becoming more dealers than buyers. I sold at a show like that once and it was a disaster for me. I think NJCC has a really good balance right now, and the hotel is honestly really good to stay in.
I did hear a bit of chatter about parking trouble. You can park across the street in the commercial plaza and walk over. My group walks over to go to dinner every time, it's not bad. It might have sucked a bit today with the heat, but generally it should be ok.

I was super excited that I got the tru masterpiece starscream for $75. Made me even happier when I saw other vendors selling him for $100 and up
kaijuguy19
Got a lot of stuff from the convention. Mostly Marvel Legends and Transformers.
I'm so happy I was able to get a lot of the figures I've been wanting to get for some time now. Only thing that stinks is that Star Saber's missing the larger hilt for his large blade to carry so if anyone has a spare hilt let me know because I REALLY want to enjoy him in his full glory.

Thanks again Fran and crew for all that you guys do for this show. I had a blast as always even though I leave early and then came back. Thanks Matrix Soul for the Cloud on the bike.
Jersey_Steel
Good show, but I have to ask. Are there plans to move this to a bigger venue anytime soon? Would add vendors, help the crowded parking and over crowded show room.
Trailbreaker77
list of what I'm bringing, I'll have my TFW shirt on if you are looking for me.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

I got $200 MISB. When I first decided to sell there wasn't a whole lot of movement on ebay, and some sold for $300+. I just did a spot check out of curiosity and ebay is crawling with them now. So I guess my timing was right. I only decided to sell because it had been in storage for 10+ years, with little to no chance of ever going out on display. It's an awesome piece though.
TransfanG1
I have that thing, how much did you get, I'm debating if I should sell mine.
TransfanG1
There was the ko announced at that point and I don't know that they ever went that high, other than a couple dopes on ebay. The guy was a goof, when you asked him how much he just looked at you, started giggling and said "do you REALLY want to know?"
