As the release of Machinima’s Combiner Wars draws ever closer, we are learning more and more about this animation. After yesterday’s first look at the animated version of the Combiner Wars, today we can report that Machinima’s RickyFTW will be voicing a character – and that character is Computron!
It sounds like we’re getting a much expanded version of the Combiner Wars story than was presented in the IDW comics. Perhaps we’ll also get to see Galvatronus, Sky Reign, or even Liokaiser with Computron now apparently being confirmed?
Watch this space for more news.

Well I've read there are 7 total 8 minute shows. Not a lot of room for dialog or plot for that matter.
Just can't get too excited about how short this series is.
I'm bitter a bit…
grimlockprime
only in the comics.the cartoon series is inspired by but not a direct adaptation of the comic series
Chronix
What?
The series isn't even out yet.
Megano
Um..isn't Computron's components dead?

I am legitimately surprised that Computron is in this. I honestly expected it would just be Superion and Menasor, because the whole project seems so outdated.
Windsweeper II
Exactly! Less fanfavs more combiners and their members please.
But it is great to see Computron will appear in the show.

I know very little about machinima to be honest. Anywhere else i'm more experienced in.
I hope their voice work is good.
jamarmiller
where are you seeing this ?
Smasher
I just hope the Technobots are actual characters.
The IDW Combiner Wars story was basically Optimus Prime, Windblade, Starscream, Prowl and Swindle.
Everyone else just got the Enygma of Combination pointed at them and "Poof" they could combine.

A total of 5 mins of computron in the 56 minute series?
Rob
It will almost certainly be Hasbro. MAYBE he will remove his mask, but for the most part Hasbro.
Windsweeper II
I hope nobody will ever again be a surfer dude in Transformers.
SG Soundwave still makes me cringe.
jamarmiller
LOL exactly

"Gnarly calculations, Autobro! Let's funk up some Deceptinerds!"

No one has asked the most important question: Will Computron be modelled after the Hasbro version or the Takara version? I'm hoping it's the latter…

Okay, here's the deal (good thing I actually watch Machinima!):
Ricky is one of the hosts (along with Eliot Dewberry, whose name ought to pop up shortly as well) of Machinima's primary news shows: ETC, T.U.G.S., Weekly Weird News, and Tech Tuesday. You'll be disappointed (I'm not) to find that his voice is not deep, like that of a traditional combiner; speaking in TF terms, I'd liken his voice to having the pitch of RiD '15 Sideswipe with the tone of Bumblebee from the same show. It's also important to note that this is his first VA experience (I think).
Furthermore, if y'all wanna leave me to tell y'all about Machinima and its people, feel free to do so. Seriously.

I'm pretty sure the Voice Actors are going to be in the L.A. Area, so anything is up for grabs. Machinima will probably use most of their own crew as much as possible.
Autovolt would know more about this than I would.

I wonder what role Computron will play in the story. With that said, I also wonder if all of the voice actors are either from Machinima? Just new in general? Or are some going to be returning veterans?

Never heard this guy's voice acting, but pretty pleased to hear my favourite Autobot Combiner is apparently in the series!
jamarmiller
is Windblade standing on Computron in that one pic ?
