During Toy Fair earlier in the year, it was revealed that several new warrior class figures are still in the works. Now thanks to images shared by Facebook user Wilton Wong, we get to see what Scorponok‘s warrior class figure looks like in hand. Though it was not specified in the original post, the paint and plastic on this figure suggest that we are seeing the retail version of this figure.
These images present Scorponok’s robot mode and scorpion mode in multiple angle, clearly showing articulation points on the figure. Unfortunately, it appears the figure is lacking a waist joint. Despite of this, the figure still manages to be a fun and creative representation of the character. If you are interested in the figure, Scorponok will be released in Robots in Disguise 2016 Warrior Wave 3 along with Windblade and Power Surge Optimus Prime. Checkout that images after the break, and let us know you thoughts on the boards.

None of this really has anything to do with my comment…. I don't care about a Titan class Scorp which is why I didn't vote for one. Read the sig for confirmation Geez!

Not sure if I'll get Scorponok or Paralon but I want the mold for sure.
Soundwinder
Neat figure, I just don't like the actual character's design so it's an easy pass.
Lady Slipstream
I'm with this guy… they should release a Voyager-leader class Scorponok (I guess that Leader class would suit him better) but a lot of people would be pretty pissed if HasTak didn't do a Titan Class figure…
Louise Belcher
I still like him, I think it's just this photos doesn't do him any justice.

Wow this guy looks neat. Don't care for it much as a representation of Scorponok, but might get just for the figure itself.

I was thinking the same thing until I realized it looks like they just unfold, then you slide them down the arm like a sleeve, then wrap them around the robot arms. There is no other way that works as I can see. No linkages or pivots shown in alt mode. It's a clever solution to the problem, just not an elegant one.

I'm still impressed on how they were able to make the claws be the shoulder pads. Seriously the designers who did this deserves praise for figuring that out.
Powerglide1991
The cons definitely have the best designs, just wish we got warriors of each con (i want my underbite to stand on his hind legs damn it!)
Noideaforaname
Am I missing something? Because other than the claws somehow shifting to the shoulders (best I can tell they completely detach from the rest of the toy and 'float' down the arm; virtually parts-forming), this is the bog standard stand-up-to-transform that literally every other Scorponok does.
BB Shockwave
He was in the VOTE for the next Titan class, geez. He will be made in that size category sooner or later, as befits a city-bot/con.
Nice to see there are still people here who do not watch the show and it seems, never grasped the rather fundamental thing that THIS LINE AND COMBINER WARS/TITANS RETURN ARE SEPARATE. Seriously? Does the totally different art style not ring a bell that the characters in this line are NOT meant to be G1/BW hommages?
MartyFeeb
Whoa… SLOW DOWN THERE. I'm not understanding you at all.
This ISN'T G1 Scorponok? Are you sure? Did you tell everyone else?!?
Exactly!
I wish everyone voted SCORPONOK on that last poll, as it's HM season for Hasbro releases. I kept warning: if you vote in Trypticon like that, Hasbro will inevitably turn him into a HM, just to tie him into the theme!
But all cynicism aside, it's clear Hasbro is looking to make Titans out of all the old 80s giants, so I'd say Scorponok gets made in 2018 or 2019. Assuming, of course, that people actually buy Fort Max and support the Titan scale!
Agreed! Hasbro has surprisingly listened and focused more on the Decepticons! And really, shouldn't they have all along? The RiD show is all about episodic Con hunts, so the spamming of BB and Optimus is annoying in that Power Rangers way (only one villain per wave? WTF??? How rare are the putties/cannon-fodder-troops? ).
Y'know, I wonder if it'd be possible to split the toy line into factions. A purely Decepticon line and a purely Autobot line – I'd love to see the sales results, as I suspect the Con line might outshine the Autobot line (if only because we'd finally see some of the obscure villains get toys, rather than an 8 billionth version of Optimus).

Man does he look nice! I love this line of Warriors/Deluxes and the Cons are probably the best part of it. I think him and Windblade are the only ones in this wave I'll get, then Bisk, Ratchet, and Scatterspike and I'm done with the line if no more Warriors come out.
YoungPrime
Good point! I almost forget I had a G1 version in storage. I know a Titan class version is comming up in a couple years but it still would've been nice if they had made a Comic book version.
Powerglide1991
Good thing G1 scorpanok is getting a titan class figure then isn't it?
Voyager? Pffft, get with it man!
combinerlover
I LOVE SCORPIONS ! , heck I love arachnids period , so I`ll take any and all Hastak dishes out ……. I have been longing for a revisit to TARANTULAS <3 – man that`d be EPIC .
Chris McFeely
Buddy, that's the same fucking transformation as G1 Scorponok, and in fact, EVERY toy named Scorponok until this guy.
Hyre
Are we sure that there's no waist joint? Because I think I see where the line is. Still, I'm pretty happy with some of the more creative creature aspects they've been incorporating, Thunderhoof and Quillfire are pretty awesome and I'm waiting/hoping for Bisk's release.
slugslinger2004
Looks pretty good. I'll gladly buy this guy for my PRIME/RID collection.
dCon
I been collecting the TakaraTomy Japanese line of these. They aren't even that much better. Not like the Legends line but I might as well continue with the last few. I do have some RID like Overload and I'll probably stick with the weaponizers in usa
