The filming of Transformers The Last Knight proceeds apace, and our latest leaked set photo via The Ragin Nation and Transformers_Contributions on Instagram shows what looks like another returning thing from Age of Extinction. This time out, it’s the Decepticon Fighter Jet prop. The fighters featured during a scene in Age of Extinction where the Autobots were breaking out of the Knight Ship. Does the appearance of the prop on set suggest we’ll see another dogfight sequence in the new movie, or merely humans tinkering with leftover technology? We’ll find out in due course – keep it TFW for more updates!

I have mixed feelings on this.
On the one hand, I'd rather see robots actually transform into jets rather than pilot spacecrafts.
On the other hand, I'm hoping the Autobots hijack these and do some wicked dogfights.
Shizuka
You find that shocking when he's flying around in a ship that belonged to the Primes?
I doubt it. Think of it this way; aliens invade and leave their technology behind. Even if you found 100s you would do something with everyone of them, not just leave them around. Remember the beginning of AOE when you saw civilians getting their hands on remnants of the ships?

Neat, definately one of those Cybertronian ships.

Wash, rinse, repeat! …was hoping this one would be away from Earth, maybe Nebulos or somewhere else interesting

Actually it maybe. Check this thread out I posted earlier today.

Read fighter jet and got all hyped up to see Megatron. Ha ha ha very funny.

So re-using an old prop makes the entire movie horrible?

Where is security?

This is going to be terrible, glad my hopes weren't high, dusting off the old random ship (that could be in any sci-fi flick) props I see. Hasbro needs to find its spine. This is not the movie to pin a cinematic universe.

Interesting. I wonder how it'll be worked into the film. Hopefully we'll get another cool dogfight, like in AOE, and they won't just have Optimus shooting them down with a handgun, like in DOTM. Of course, it could just be a broken ship somebody's trying to salvage.

I suppose the VTOL version of the F-35 could do the trick if they needed a human fighter aircraft with "hovering" capabilities, much like in Die Hard 4.

Cool. I've always liked these ships, they look really cool. Im still waiting for a bot to transform into one of these.Im down for another cool scene using these ships aslong as the humans are not involved. Humans are getting really anoying in these films. I dont mind military humans like epps and lennox but random stupid love storys gets annoying. I liked cades character but he did not need to be in the film for that long and especially his retarted daughter and her disrespectful boyfriend, they did not need to be in the film. I hope this film does good, looks better so far than AOE but that little girl Isabella moner better have a good significance for her being in this film. Tired of unesiary humans.

How about some Transformers?
I'd much rather see some human vehicles that transformed into alien robots in my Transformers movies rather than random action sci-fi stuff like this.
fallen_revenge
Ehh…I'm kinda bored of seeing those ships now. Have a dog fight using something else, but I don't want them driving those ships again. It's getting repetitive imo.

those pics were taken at the old Packard Plant in Detroit. That's thier next filming location. It was used in DOTM where the train was stuck through the building and OP shot down the ship and wreckers tore the con to pieces. It was also used in AOE as the abandoned building that they had the chase scene with the rally cars and the ramp jump.
CKPRIME
They were never specifically stated to be Decepticon ships only. After all, Bumblebee and Crosshairs knew how to operate them. I always figure they were Cybertronians using Cybertronian hardware.

To me, looks like they could be from a junkyard. Maybe leftovers from Chicago?

The photo was taken at the TF5 set up in Detroit by a passerby named Philip Monroe according to the The Ragin Nation. Apparently the filming is going to take place in run down areas such as Detroit East Side, Hamtramck. I don't know if this is a legit place but that is what was told.
