IDW artist Sara Pitre-Durocher has taken to her Twitter to share some design sketches for the Till All Are One series, showcasing Knock Out, Tigatron, and Airazor.
Meanwhile, colorist Thomas Deer has likewise posted on his own Twitter a retailer incentive cover for issue #1, colored by himself and drawn by the aforementioned Pitre-Durocher.
Check it all out after the break!
Rodimus Prime
She's basically Scott's Creator's Pet.
SMOG
Well, he looks pretty much the same as he did on the TF Prime tv series. Like most of the Prime bots, he has rounder, slimmer, more angular forms, rather than thick boxy ones.
Though… I really do have to ask whether tiny, narrow hips and giant shoulders are really what people think of as "feminine" these days?
zmog
Novaburnhilde
This.
I really don't think Drift was ever this bad, and IDW and Hasbro didn't push him this hard when he first appeared.
Coffee
They look much better in this style than in their introductory issues.
CrimsonMagnus
I like how metroplex's face looks old and weary. That bot has seem some things, man
GAUGE
looks like metroplex is wearing one of those anime ear hats. in this case it's rabbit ears.
Fallout
tigatron's head does not look good at all.
Omegax80
I was thinking, this is what they were trying to accomplish with Arcee.
She is a "new" character, and like Drift, is being pushed harder than other characters to force the popularity.
Like Roman Reigns (for the wrestling fans out there).
Laser_Optimus
They tried the same thing with Drift. Unfortunately/fortunately, depending on your perspective, he didn't actually become a well written character until someone other than McCarthy started writing him. Maybe if someone other than Scott starts writing for Windblade she might get better, because as a base character there's nothing wrong with her however they've failed to make her compelling and two dimensional so far.
I was just thinking this myself.
Novaburnhilde
Those designs for Knock Out, Airrazor and Tigatron look excellent.
Autovolt 127
Generations Knock Out, Tigatron and Airrazor when?
artiepants
because Hasbro/IDW really, desperately seem to want her to be Wolverine.
unfortunately, in what i've read, she's bland as plain white toast.
You can't "manufacture" a popular character.
ericepy
so he just looks feminine?, not that theres anything wrong with that.
TacticalBacon
Nope.
ericepy
so knockout is a girl now?
Thorhammer
So I haven't been following these comics but I can't help but ask–why does it seem like Windblade is on almost every cover I see? I mean good grief aren't there any other bots in these?
Spartan Prime
I can't help but see this when I look at Tigatron…
Turakonin Prime
I love that tfp knockout got a part in the IDW universe
