Transformers #54
John Barber (w) • Andrew Griffith (a) • Josh Burcham (c)
ALL HAIL OPTIMUS—part 5! OPTIMUS PRIME orders all all-out siege against the DECEPTICONS… leaving himself wide open to a counterattack by the human forces. Which is just what GALVATRON wanted all along…
Staff edit: Updated with corrected credits page.

My guess would be that Victorion is reformed by Enigma and kills Superion (busy working as a part-time programmer LOL), confirming Prime's dream in #50.
incapable hulk
Looking forward to reading it, and the cover has Slingshot as Superions left arm.
polystyleneman
Pretty happy with how this issue turned out. I sure hope everyone enjoys it.
Sockie
He's fighting four other combiners at the same time. I'd call foul if he wasn't getting his ass kicked. Regardless, it looks like he's about to be the one to overcome and take control of the Enigma (unlike Victorion or Sky Reign) and turn the tide, so I don't think this is that bad a moment for him.
Declassifying IDW & Hasbro's World-Merging "Revolution" | Comic Book Resources
And the cover. It could just be a variant that has little to do with the actual story, but I have my doubts…
General Magnus
When and how?
General Magnus
Another issue, another "Superion get´s it´s ass kicked" moment. Seriously, from getting ripped in half by Devastator to this, how many times did this guy got his ass kicked?
Sockie
It's already been said that, as part of Revolution, G.I. Joe is called in to bring down Prime; there's that one cover that indicates they're working with the EDC as well. I don't think this arc ends with Optimus and the humans living happily together.
hardlurk
Predictions: Optimus defeats Galvatron. He doesn't overthrow the governments of Earth. They realize he's a swell guy and accept his alliance. He places himself and the Autobots at their disposal. The Autobots become, essentially, a perfectly accurate, perfectly non-lethal, nobly administered drone warfare system used to help out the underprivileged without disrupting the status quo. Sometimes they fight aliens or humans with alien tech, also to prevent disruption to the status quo. This will be billed as a "Revolution". It will be boring.

Slugslinger's still not one of Galvatron's Decepticons, so I don't think he'd have any problem with just being freed from Galvatron's control and going along with whatever faction the other components want Sky Reign to be.
Purple Heart
I'd have to agree with that, but Slug Slinger is a part of Sky Reign, so unless he just decides to swap factions or they get someone else in there..
It would also be cool to see Galvatron counter Superion and write a Thrust clone into Galvatronus.
Yeah. I's love to learn more about Superion's mental hacking skills.
Girl Pants
Oh man, I would love Barber forever if he worked the G2 colors into the comics.
optimall
G2 Superion?
Autovolt 127
Finally a combiner doing something more than being a big guy and punching and jobbing.
RobotKnight95
^Yosh! Jumpstream use teleport!
Girl Pants
While I don't see it happening, it would interesting if the Torchbearers were left unable to combine for a while. It would allow them to develop as separate characters more.
battlefudge
My guess: He rewrites sky reign to be an autobot, rewrites victorion back in, and I bet that is where he stops.
Megastar
Go Superion Go!

It's probably that the enigma can only control what it did in the first place. So for Superion, 4/5 or (4/6) of him is a "natural" non-enigma combiner and thus he holds up well.
Menasor would probably hold up nearly as well as Superion, but then again, Menasor was never well mentally pre-Enigma, so he'd probably be a bit less stable.
Combiners like Victorion, Galvatronus, Sky Reign, Defensor, and Optimus Maximus who are sure enigma creations could probably be controlled completely.
Scoop-Devastator would probably resist it decently and Prowl-Devastator would probably be the most resistant.
Monstructor would also likely resist, but he's not exactly sane, so good luck telling the difference.
Sockie
Superion was modified by the Enigma as well, though, when Alpha Bravo and Powerglide were incorporated into him.
SG Roadbuster
actually, since the Stunticons were modified with the Enigma to incorperate Blackjack and Offroad i think they"ll still be affected. same for Devastator since he was "Enigmaed" to boot Prowl and jam Scoop in.
so the only Combiners who would be unaffected are Superion and Monstructor.
