And now that I've gone back and finished the episode:
You can forget being unnecessarily creepy, the consent laws scene in Age of Extinction was just plain unnecessary. The age of consent in Texas is 17, which Tessa was. They chose to keep that robotless, pointless scene in while leaving something like the Autobot dancing scene out, and I will forever be salty and I will forever complain that it was part of the 2.5 hour long movie that I paid money to see.
Vangelus
Holy crap that is dripping with style :O I had no idea it was a mixed media with friggin Weta involved
That Guy
I love that chart. I am very happy with my MMC Predaking but I would not at all mind CW Seacons, Terrorcons, or Pretender Monsters.
Speaking of Seacons though, the TFC toys look really good. Depending on how the final review of TFC Hades goes I'll pick him up, and if I feel like TFC has stepped up their game since Uranos I may end up succumbing and getting the TFC Neptune before any CW box sets are announced.

With the talk of the Thunderbirds movie I feel compelled to mention that the new Thunderbirds TV show is good and under celebrated. It's a mix of physical sets and CGI.

I've never been bothered by the number one thing that much. Marvel sent a bit nuts with Secret Wars and renumbering Howard the Duck after like 4 issues, but overall the breaks between series are intuitive enough. MtMtE already uses a "seasonal" approach to its issues, so this number reset would come at an opportune time for "season 3."

Hey Vangelus – what did you do to fix your Skid's shoulders? I tried to tighten mine with floor polish, but now sliding them is practically a feat of strength… and they're still a little loose in robot mode.
Also, I got Crosscut hoping he'd be better… I got one almost like TJ's, pretty loose.

Cool, I'll check my local store on the weekend. Thanks!
Vangelus
I got some of those Surface Gard black foam pads from the home hardware down the street from me. 3/4" 19mm foam pads, according to the package
BenjaminXavier
Hey, Vangelus! What rubber stuff are you using on your combiner feets?
Probe
A much better metric for Hopkins is what Malcovich got. So I'd bet he's actually in the movie.
They get big famous "respected" actors in every one of these movies

One thing that could vouch for a Predaking is that "Combiner Force" trademark from months ago

Sometimes stuff just happens organically and unplanned! I forgot about it by the time I made the thread. Here is the news link I just dug up: Hasbro Taiwan Transformers Titans Return Toy Experience Event – Transformer World 2005 – TFW2005.COM
Computron is a giftset, so following the pattern of the last three he probably will release online and at retailers aroundabouts the same time.

Regarding Predaking, if next year turns out to be Pretenders, they could easily add animal pretender shells to the Predacons. Thus tying them into the gimmick.
However, I agree the figures would be a Titan style set, like the Constructicons.
Requiem Prime
High guys, I got some questions for you.
First, WHY DO YOU SAY YOU HAVE NOTHING AND THEN TALK ABOUT THEM WITHOUT THE LINKS?! I might like to see this alternate transformation of Fort Max you spent a good while marveling at.
Second, have you heard anything regarding Hasbro's method of launching Computron? Will it be happy wide release or another extra Deluxe toy launch which they open super limited preorders at an inopportune time, punctuating that how much they didn't really want to make the extra figure in the first place?
Requiem Prime
Ooo Big Convoy, that would be an awesome choice! Two Primes throwing down. I thought the fallen's face was based on (or canonically inspired) the decepticon symbol.

Hey vangelus,
Could you please share the rubber material you use for combiner feet? My previous material ran out, and I'm curious what you use.
Thanks
SG Roadbuster
were hasbro to take a whack at cw Predaking, i'd prefer him to be in normal cw format. especially since his base molds can be easily retooled into more Beast Mode combiners. as illustrated in this chart.
Legends Integration Note: Snarler is intended as a handheld drill weapon for Predaking, Sparkstalker and Flamefeather are intended as handheld guns for Abominus, Nautilator is a gun for Piranacon, Bob is a haldheld bladed weapon for the Monsterbot combiner. Slog/Kakuryu becomes a chestplate for Monstructor/Dinoking.
Lioconvoy is here cuz every Line needs a Prime. but a Maximal combiner could be spun off of him.
DeadLocke
Wow, Is Megatron… gonna look like an elephant now?
Because after seeing that picture, and now getting a glimpse of his new face, I can't un-see the resemblance anymore.
Megasquared
Shouldn't that say "With zero intent at malice"?
