Via Gadepon on Twitter, we have our first look at a Masterpiece Black Tracks! Taken from Figure King Magazine, the scan shows us that the third of the Tracks mold decos will be getting the Masterpiece treatment, and will be named Loud Pedal. From the image, it looks like Loud Pedal will have purple windows, and a mint green face to go with his primarily black deco.
Masterpiece Loud Pedal will be a Tokyo Toy Show exclusive in June. It’s not clear from the image, but this deco just might also have the “toy accurate” head sculpt seen a while back. Keep it TFW for more news and updates.

Anyone know if there is a ko head of Loudpedal? I reaaly want to repaint the head and a KO regular track j to a toy version. But cant sacrifice an original for it.
It just seems a waste.

Here is my shout out to LP – he is the only TF I have displayed outside the man cave haha

Good buy

I just received Loudpedal yesterday from a US shop through Amazon.com. It was $65 shipped so I ran with it.

Cheers guys
Maz – I agree. He really is a superb figure.

Ahh well done sourcing another! I couldn't live with a substandard Loudpedal, he's just too awesome

Glad you found another.

So I managed to find another Loud Pedal and so far…..touch wood…..this one has no such issues
Comparing the new to the old definitely shows that something caused the leg panel hinges on my original to shrink. He was on display in robot mode from the moment I got him so maybe that's a factor. I've also noticed that the hinge pieces on LP are made of a different type of plastic to that of Tracks and Road Rage.
Whatever the cause I'm going to be super careful with this new one. He is really is a fantastic figure!
Roadbuster25
That sucks. The leg panels in my opinion are not well designed. Many parts on MP figures can handle wear and tear, but those leg panels are not one them.
Higgs79
He was in robot mode, one shelf higher, out of direct sun light and nowhere near a heat source. The room has a regular light but it's rarely on. I wonder what causes that soft nylon type plastic to shrink.
Thanks Maz. This gives me more confidence about getting a replacement.
Maz
No such damage to any of Tracks, Road Rage or Loud Pedal that I own, and they get transformed very regularly for pics and fun. So sorry to see this happen to yours

It would be good to get a consensus of whether others Loud Pedals have suffered this fate, for sure. Were you storing him anywhere different from Road Rage or Tracks? A different shelf, closer to heat source or light source or anything like that?
Higgs79
I don't blame you Jon Trooper. Sometimes you get that sixth sense that tells you to leave well alone. If you've handled a '82 straight arm GI Joe in recent times you'll know exactly what I mean.
I had another look at the broken pieces on my LP and I can confirm that the silvery plastic, tubular pieces are actually fused to the black nylon plastic hinges. I can't even rotate them with needle nosed pliers!
When I got LP I messed about with him for a couple of days but since then he's been stood on a shelf in the same pose. I compared the pieces to my road rage and tracks (who transform just fine) and it seems like the hinge pieces on my LP are slightly smaller almost like they've shrunk.
I'm be really keen to know if anyone else has transformed their LP figure recently.
It's such a shame because I love the decor of this figure
jon trooper
I half transformed mine but the legs on mine are so tight I feel like I'm going to break it so put him back into the box
Higgs79
I understand why you might say that but…..nope. I also have Tracks and Road Rage and have transformed them over and over again with no issues whatsoever. I hadn't transformed LP since he was first released. When the first leg panel snapped I set about seeing how to dismantle the leg to repair it. I reached the conclusion that it would be very difficult to do due to the way that piece is assembled. The leg panel has a tubular piece that goes through the hinge which is then pinned on the side that you can't see. Once I was resigned to being unable to fix it only then did I attempt to move the other leg panel. It literally fell off with no force at all – I barely moved it. I would say that there was a weakness in the plastic or that the tubular piece of the panel had fused to the hinge itself. Either way this wasn't the one of this mould that I wanted to break. Tracks and Road Rage are practically on clearance. LP is a different story unfortunately. I'm also worried that if a shell out for another LP that it'll have the same issue. Has anyone transformed their LP recently?

Hopefully you will be able to find a solution through the community.

sorry to be this bloke but for them both to snap off you must of been doing something wrong , maybe trying to lift and rotate?
