I hope IDW keeps Ramondelli if only so I can read this neverending whine from butthurt people. That's a prime eintertainment on its own.

In a good way or bad way?

Think you've got your reasons…

I saw her in the Free comic book for another series that I believe it is not IDW. Spectrum is the title.

Eh, It's the internet. Hyperbole is the standard. I'm no fan of Livio's interior work, but he's a good cover artist. He just can't do nuance or sequential art.
But I'm no fan of this art either. It's looks childish. IDW TF artists definitely live on the extremes, in my opinion. There's Milne, Griffith, Frank, Coller and then there's the rest… I really liked Stone's work, though it was definitely a departure in style for TFs, but she seems to have disappeared and has been replaced by Tramontano (who seems like a poor imitator).
But art is wholly subjective.. I'm sure there's someone out there who thinks Rojo it the greatest TF artist ever, and I hope I never meet them.

Megatron Origin had a mention.
They were partners, Sunstreaker did train him, but they were brothers as well.
Focksbot
UM. Since when were Sideswipe and Sunstreaker brothers in IDW? I thought Sunstreaker was Sideswipe's training officer or something?
I think the hate for Livio is getting a bit extreme. I think it's fair to say that his line work is very sloppy in terms of perspective, posture and facial expressions, and you can count me among those who're put off an issue by dint of his artwork, but calling it vomit crosses the line into being pointlessly nasty, imo.

I should have used blue font…
The implication was his schedule is always free to do fill-ins because no one wants him.
Optimus Goat
Have to say, guys, I've joined the boards here to counter the rather too prevalent opinion re: Livio Ramondelli's work.
In complete contrast to the venom being issued further up the thread here…I think it's fantastic.
Yep, you read that right. The guy has a great sense of colour. Honestly, his painterly style is just fabulous to look at. His handling of scale and scene-setting is second to none. Some of his work reminds me of the great Geoff Senior's dynamic panels and poses.
I think back through TF art history to the likes of Nel 'Cant colour for shit' Yomtov, Dan 'what's a straight line?' Reed, Rob 'Perspective Issues' Ruffalo, Pat 'Puffy' Lee….and Livio at his WORST is nowhere near as bad as these guys.
You talk about the art in the above pages being something laudable? While the characters may be more technically intricate than Ramondelli (he does do rather boxy characters) they're actually really boring to look at. The framing, the layouts, the colouring…it's fluffy, pretty candy compared to Ramondelli's genuine art.
I realise this will probably raise no end of objection and counterpoint but it needed said: not everyone agrees with your views on the matter. I hope IDW keep him around for ages.

I really liked the brother's moment there.
And Soundwave being confronted with the existence of *another* Prime.

He tends to do the same amount of issues as the pencilers with regular series. Last year Milne did 7 regular sized issues and Ramondelli did 1 double sized issue and 5 regular issues. And the five regular issues all came out within less than 4 months of each other.

Gee, I wonder why his schedule is always free…?
SG Roadbuster
*uncontrollable vomiting, smears a comic page into it*
Hire me IDW!
I'd rather he not ruin ANY books. maybe set him loose on the My Little Pony Comics.
Autovolt 127
Oh god the shipping between Arcee and Sideswipe oh god.
It's miracle he's even alive.
PredaconElder
I prefer that he'd ruin the less important books instead of the main ongoing.
Probe
Well, Ramondelli's doing the double sized Titans Return one shot in July, so that's probably what's keeping him.
He's also doing #56.
BadBadNotThisd
Yes, thank god we had Sakamoto to fill in when needed. My favorite part of transformers is the art and Ramondelli has ruined far too many series with his terrible work.
SG Roadbuster
right. but whenever it seems a regular artist cant do the job, for whatever reason, idw brings in Ramondelli to shit all over a page and calls it done. so i reckon with the combined efforts of Griffith and Tramontano, we'll never have to see Ramondelli abuse the printed page again for EXRID. and now that we have Sakamoto working on MTMTE when Milne cant, we don't have to see him there either.
