Thanks to a member on 4chan, we have some in-hand images of Titans Return Legends class Rewind and Wheelie! The member is apparently from Australia so this doesn’t mean much for the US thus far, but at least now we have some good size comparisons and in-hand closeups of the two.
These two are slated for release sometime this summer and will likely be popping up at retail in the coming months. Til then, check out the pics after the jump!

I have the same issue. Took awhile to get the arms to tab into place. Adding pressure to tab in the arms, untabs everything else. Also the canopy doesn't really lock in place. I had to keep fiddling with that part as well. very annoying.
Wheelie is my least favorite character. I doubt that I'd spend more $$ for an MP version. This fills the void.

Maybe I got a bad Wheelie, but it's one of the worst Transformers figures I've gotten in a LONG time. Bot mode is fine, but you cannot – for even a moment – get the parts to tab together in alt mode. It's a floppy, sloppy mess, and it's all down to the really poor engineering choices they made on what tabs to what and how. Tabs are too small to actually stay in place, and when you get one part tabbed (sort of) it makes the other pieces pop apart. Bad engineering, bad tolerances. It's too bad because it had the potential to be a really outstanding toy otherwise.

I actually like the Wheelie pictured on the card better than the actual toy it's supposed to represent… they even flipped the colors with the reddish thighs and white shins.

Heh.

Oh uh, that's not acceptable….

Just got my three guys in hand.
Wheelie's the standout; despite being a bit loose jointed, he's a really worthy update. Alt mode is a bit tabby and wouldn't keep his shape in a pocket or anything (not that anyone should be carrying their Transformers in pockets) but bot mode is pretty awesome, even better than pictured. Poseable, fun, just the right amount of detailing, I could fiddle with his transformation for hours.
Rewind is a bit more solid, partially due to transforming into two types of brick. I like the gun placement in tank mode, but hope that it won't lead to broken tabs on the gun piece.
Stripes is…not good. I may avoid Ravage because the mold is fragile and doesn't look any better in person than the photos. Just a mess of panels in a roughly animal-like shape with a crazy-ugly head sculpt (no neck joint, unlike Buzzsaw). Jet mode is passable but I think he'll stay in phone mode for ever more. That said, maybe he'll eventually find some fans. He does have poseable legs which means that he could end up being surprisingly photogenic the more people play with him, but I'm not seeing much good at first glance.

So wait, the deco on Rewind's chest is a tampograph and not a sticker? Oh man.
Because I'm a sucker for Takara's stuff and the included Titanmasters, I'm still going for Takara's offering but man that's gonna bug me knowing that Hasbro's Rewind has the better head.

Excellent!! Just what I was lookin for, thanks for the post!

Thanks!
Looks so much better without flash light. In fact, I really like Hasbro's version of Wheelie. The gray lower arms avoid him from looking orange 'top heavy'.

Found this via Tformers. It's a bit long for a legends class toy review but it does show his transformation with has a really clever bit for the torso.

They were fun for the time, for what I wanted. I like re-imagining of characters, like 2 little cassette dudes being turned into tanks… But it seems most interest is gone, even at $10 bucks, they've barely got a single bid so far…

I'd already PO'd Takara's Wheelie and I'm glad I did. That Hasbro paint job is just terrible.
Still not sure about the differences between the two Rewind's. He's not a character I care greatly for, so I'll likely stick with the Hasbro version. Didn't notice the cassette on the alt-mode before, that's fun!
I'd like to see more of Stripes.

In-Hand – Transformers Titans Return Legends class Wheelie

Well if Takara's fiction places Titans Return after G-2 like their Unite Warriors and Legends fiction, then Shuta Go is no longer a kid

"Edmund Liu reported on the Transformers Collectors Club Australia's Facebook group that he spotted Fortress Maximus at Myer. We've also received a sighting from Nath Wayne who spotted Fortress Maximus at Perth's Myer.
Excited that Fortress Maximus is appearing across Australia? Well you might want to either console your wallet now, or wait until the mid-year toy sales or other retailers pick him up as he will set you back the healthy sum of $360 AUS!" -seibertron

Im def going to get the Hasbro version of Wheelie first, as a test bed for mods. Already got the TT version on preorder at hobbysearch & that one will be getting the full treatment.
I do agree with an earlier poster tho, the pictures for wheelie give no sense of size. Understanding that he is legends scale, how tall is he in bot mode really? 3 1/2 inches? 4 inches? inquiring minds need to know!

I really like wheelie. Rewinds cool but my KFC ver is king

I do like the darker canopy on the Hasbro version, but I prefer the way the Autobot logo shows through the canopy in the Takara version's robot mode. And I've never been a huge Wheelie fan, so if I buy one, screen accuracy is the number one concern. The Hasbro version seems completely pointless to me. I don't like Wheelie enough to buy a figure that doesn't even look like the character.

So after 5 pages I'm barely clear on whether this means they have suddenly sprung up at regular Oz retail?
Are we "expecting" this to be repeated elsewhere in the World this early?
