Comic artist Andrew Griffith has shared through twitter the cover art of IDW Transformers #55, the concluding issue for All Hail Optimus. On the cover (colored by Artist Josh Burcham), it features Arcee, Cosmos, Optimus Prime, and Soundwave jetting through space in the same direction. Mr. Griffith said in his tweet that this issue “may end up having special significance for him”. What does it all mean? We will have to find out when the issue comes out in July 2016. Checkout the full cover art after the break.

I'm totally seeing space-turtle as well.

Glad I'm not the only one noticing this.

If cosmos doesnt transform into a space turtle, he should. What's the deal with Arcee getting a lot of significance lately?
Omegax80
Great artwork as always.
My only gripe, it's a stupid gripe, but I feel like Arcee has been on every cover for the past dozen issues. Feature some other TFs once in a while?
Is it just me, or has Arcee become the Wolverine of IDW?

I believe I can Fly.
Could be worst, they could be rolling their tires in zero gravity space.

These are the exact same models Griffith has been drawing these characters with for several years now.

So I'm not trying to be That Guy but can the artists stick to the actual model of the characters instead of re-interpreting them every time they draw them. It just seems like that's what happens super often in IDW and it frustrates me because I have remind myself who-is-who a lot.
On the other hand, I love the art. Almost always beautiful. This is not an except to that!
GAUGE
Only thing is, if they are in space, there'd be no wind resistance which means no speed trails or blur effects when dong a fly-by.
tisk tisk.
nice image otherwise.

Great artwork, the background is super pretty.
Not pictured: Human's trying to blow them out of the sky.

Fuck me, Transformers art is really gorgeous these days.

Note: Optimus Prime died on the way back to his home planet.

They have to go. Their home planet needs them.
