He might still be but now's not the time for fear, that comes later.

Also still holding to my theory that the pet is Agent 113 (I know, he was Vos before…never seen the alternate mode…)
justiceg
?!?
justiceg
it is one annoyance I have with the title. Never seems to be much use of alternate modes at all, even in places where it would completely make sense. Like the writing though otherwise.
Squiddy
I'll scream if that happens. I'm so tired of time shenanigans at this point. It doesn't help that there's going to be time travel bullshit soon after these next few issues.

Guys come on Tarn is a time displaced Senator Shockwave it's so blatantly obvious I'm not really sure how we can treat any more speculation on the topic seriously
Susha
well if your trying to get a rep, leaving no witnesses isn't good. wait that guy has a built in camera? and we're in a ship full of autobots… xmas!
but i suppose that i've stumbled upon the dominus ambus theory, and it almost feels like its out there to give you another theory other than roller. doesn't mean its roller, just providing more possibilities?
the reason that I was thinking Ultra Magnus is that… it would really be a descent in to darkness. like the Colonel Kurtz inspired Overlord we have in LSotW, only that this time UM would have been a good guy once, just like Kurtz. It would make Tarn more scary instead of a emotionally hurt Roller who wants revenge on the world cos… pax abbandoned him? boo hoo… an Evil Magnus would mirror the Colonel Kurtz of Apocalypse now, and his semantics in rationalizing his (genocidical) actions would remind us of the over intellectual Marlon Brando, monologuing his way into evil, just like Tarn enjoys doing on a kill.
A Tarn Magnus would be the Hannibal Lectar of the Decepticons while Roller feels more like the villan in silence of the lams. Not that it doesn't work, and I must say that I also see a bit of Colonel Landa in Tarn (Inglorious B@stards) …. but the villain of silence-otl wasn't very prone in talking to his victims, in fact he avoided them whatsoever until he wore their mask (uuu did I just catch something there? faces? Vos?) so Tarn seems more similar to Kurtz or Landa or he tries to.
and.. maybe Tarn really wears a mask cos he's too insecure to confront his victims as his real self (without the mask metaphorically speaking)?
anyone feeling it?
WilyMech
I never believe that Tarn is Roller it is almost like Red herring. The DJD did not need to leave Rewind alive in fact it almost atypical of behavior for them. I mean find a camera and use it does not have to be a living person.
Susha
yes i did the same thing. the dominus theory i suppose works best.
but we never got to see the UM that inspired tyrest to bla bla bla.. (well i guess in monstrosity but he isn't that inspiring there so..)
so either a flash back, or … Tarn?
doesn't work does it?
WilyMech
It might explain why Rewind survive DJD attack on lost Light. Opps I was thinking about Dominus Ambus….
Susha
what if Tarn instead of being the established Roller is instead… the original ultra magnus?
could it be?

Wait, wait wait! I thought Drift was terrified of the DJD? What's with this bravery against them? Did I miss something in the Drift spin-offs series?
Chaotic
Team Rodimus is comprised mostly of characters with storylines too important to the creator of an ongoing to die casually.
The wreckers were/are team expendable and few of them have any impact on the plot outside the two minis. As a result most of them were treated like red shirts. Hasbro itself stood in to save either Perceptor, Springer, or Kup(who was scheduled to die in Infestation). Roche and Roberts felt badly about killing another.
It doesn't seem quite fair to compare the two when their survival will be a case of "Sorry, man, but the gods liked me more than you."
tusko
Well, FYI Drift ain't gonna die, so….
I think it will be a nice contrast to LSotW and SotW to show how "Team Hot Rod" deals with the DJD in contrast to the Wreckers and how Whirl is going to react.
General Magnus
The whole DJD is overdue for some payback.
Focksbot
Guys, guys, guys. Clearly, the only *correct* emotional response to the dog dilemma (and the one intended) is inner conflict – "I can sympathise with this poor guy because who doesn't love their dog but damn he's also a psychopath and I hate him so I love seeing him hurt raaarrgh confusion!"
Anyone reacting differently must repent or be cast out. We can't have any rampant displays of individuality round here!
ZeroiaSD
Turbo foxes have much more basic nervous systems. They may have something spark-ish (the old owners of the LL fed their turbofoxes), but probably more an ember to a cybertronian's flame, so to speak.
Even ones with proper sparks added and enhanced by Bludgeon aren't exactly smart- it's just at that point that they began showing emotion and hunting in packs.
The Pet is probably pretty exceptional for a turbofox- likely to do with it being a sparkeater.
Dramatic Spoon
Something to do with their sparks, perhaps?
Redemption had Buldgeon implanting newborn sparks into the Turbofoxes granting them increased intelligence, weapons and what not.
The Madness
Lack of talking too.
Fallout
wait, so why is ravage considered a (barely sentient) person, but the turbo foxes aren't? intelligence? lack of transformation?
