Once again via Starscream韋 on Weibo, we have some new product shots of the upcoming Titans Return Legends Class Laserbeak and Rumble figures, both of which were first revealed back at Toy Fair 2016.
These images show the little guys off in all three of their modes – those being robot, vehicle, and tablet; the latter of which is intended to fit into the Leader Soundwave (or Blaster) figure.
Check out the pics after the break!

So true.
You sir are an evil genius.

Yeah, I figured most of it is playing ping pong.
So did I
still missing a bunch of cassettes. I doubt we can get them all, but there's a small glit of hope…
It's more fun than anything at this point.

I thought we finished this discussion last week? What possibly was there to add? I don't want to know!

Yes, please put me and everyone else on ignore already, so we can dispense with the wailing and recrimination about how horrible we are as a fandom, etc. C'mon… some people are disagreeing about something silly on the internet. A little perspective, please? It's not worth sermonizing over. It's not going to 'ruin Tranformers forever'.
Also blocked posts are way more ostentatious than unblocked posts. I find it incredibly easy to skip over and not read most of the posts on a page.
Yeah, the US edition is okay, but it doesn't really feel like Rumble OR Frenzy to me. It's just a random figure. However, when the Takara G1-styled editions came out, I had to track them down. They just look way better, plus they make a rather nice updated Rumble/Frenzy pair.
I gave the piledrivers from the US version to the red one.
If it carries on like this, it'll end in a Slugfest?

ICWHATUDIDTHAR! And I like it.

Man this Frenzy's still going? I thought people would stop Rumbling by now. We don't have to be Enemies like this guys. Let's all Rewind, Eject some of our steam, and stop Ravaging the thread with all these Steel Jaws. It's getting kind of Overkill.

I always wanted them to only ever be released in "Rumble & Frenzy" 2-packs, with nothing to indicate which name goes to which color scheme. That way half the people can be content to match up names by personal preference, and the other half can be driven slowly mad by their obsessive need to know who is officially who.

Have you seen how we function over the last three decades? That wouldn't have worked. Someone would've made it a mess somehow.
"I know he's character Z, but I call him George."
"You're an idiot. George? You're an idiot and I hate you."
And so on, it turns into a landslide that no one can escape. All it takes is one little pebble, which we usually supply ourselves.

Hasbro could have saved us from this incessant debate by just calling Rumble and Frenzy "The Red One" and "The Blue One".

I do hate me some oven mitt hands. It's the one thing about RID Strongarm I don't like, and she's one of my favorite RID figures.
Imagine how I feel about a figure I can't find a desire to buy…
I understand why they do it, I just don't agree with it.

Well, that Frenzy got the stupid wtf oven-mitts hands, so no buy for me…

Funny you mention that.. Rumble is also funny in the Prime line. In the US, he's light blue with a weird looking head. In Japan, he's RED with a different head and they add a (darker) BLUE one to be Frenzy. I was conflicted when it came to my shelf because I combine the US and JPN figures into one display. So what about Rumble!? I opted to use the Japanese ones because there was no US version of Frenzy and I don't want two blue ones. Plus, they JPN ones looked nicer IMO.

*sighs* This shit's still going on? Fine. A whole bunch of people going on the blocklist.
I'm so sick and tired of loading threads and seeing nothing but blocked posts. Like 3-5 in a row with nothing to see or participate in. I'm sick of it, but that's how it has to be.
Red, blue, Rumble, Frenzy, whatever. The toys are coming, we have official images of them. Are you buying them or not? That's all that matters, every other topic in this thread is spew coming out of a butthole.
We all have one and it's time we stop shitting all over each other to make ourselves feel better about our personal choices and beliefs over a toy.

Black & white TV growing up?
This is my suspicion too… the cartoon exerts a certain populist force because it was "democratic"… it didn't matter how many toys you had, or how 'serious' a fan you were. As long as you had access to a TV, you could have an opinion about Transformers (even if that opinion was narrow and uninformed).
If you were rich enough to have a colour TV, then I guess you had an opinion about what colour Rumble was. At the time, I was paying close attention to the toys, so I considered that to be a rather ignorant opinion. I didn't take the cartoon as sole gospel in 1984 any more than I do now.
Word.
And your insistence doesn't mean that you're being legit either… though maybe if you play innocent long enough, you can convince yourself of that. The mind is a tricky thing.
You were making a point of calling it Frenzy repeatedly. You weren't "discussing the toy"… you were 'competitively participating' in the RIR/RIB discourse. Or let's say this is my opinion. In my opinion, you are being disingenuous. And according to the internet, opinions can't be wrong apparently, so…
Haha… that's sort of the logic at the foundation of claiming "I'm just going to flail my arms around and walk in this direction, and if anyone gets hit it's their own fault, not mine". I guess that's appropriate, considering the schoolyard maturity level of this whole debate.
I have no issue with 'CHUG' since it's actually a useful descriptive umbrella acronym, especially when one can't be arsed to remember which series a mold came out in (Classics, Universe, and Generations sort of blending into each other).
It's a mystery to me why anybody would 'assume' it's Frenzy, knowing full well that…
A) Hasbro typically uses red for Rumble, and
B) that in contested circumstances, it's useful to actually look at the product names for the line you collect.
I think your hypothetical "fan who assumes" is a rhetorical concoction that belongs to the realm of unicorns and dodos.
I'm not reading too much into it, nor am I particularly offended. Some people are referring to this figure as Frenzy contextually while acknowledging the official name, while others (one person in particular comes to mind) are doing it to be smartasses… in my opinion.
I have no real issue about a bit of smartassery in the RIR/RIB debate, since I've always considered the RIR/RIB thing to be an absurd, jocular sort of tradition. Since we all know the truth of the matter… the simple fact that Rumble is red, but was palette-swapped on the cartoon, which has led to a different preference among a certain segment of the fandom… it becomes a casual game of taking the piss out of each other. But when someone can't even step outside of themself long enough to own up to being a smartass about something, I think that's kind of pathetic.
I'm not going to go into a Transformers Prime discussion, and repeatedly insist on referring to PRID Rumble as "Frenzy" because he's blue. At best, it would be me being a smartass… and at worst, a troll. If I then tried to claim otherwise – that I was sincerely doing that because in my heart-of-hearts I always saw Frenzy as blue and that I wasn't trying to stir things up – that would just be asinine.
For exactly the same reason, I also use the Transformers names for 3rd party items… NOT their official names (the new names are technically the official ones).
There are some clear reasons why this is considered accepted practice. One is that there is a clear consensus and understanding over who these 3rd party figures are supposed to represent. Nobody is arguing about who Maketoy Gundog/Hound is supposed to be. There's no historical debate about that. There is also the issue of intent… these figures are clearly intended and designed to represent certain Transformers characters/toys. This is not the case with Rumble/Frenzy… there is a debate over the decos and over the characters. And using whatever name you feel like does -not- necessarily reflect Hasbro's intent.
Anyway, now I know where you stand and what your claims are… and you know where I stand, and what my opinion is on that matter… …so I guess that's all that needs to be said.

Grimwing
Its just frenzy in Volcano Attack Armor.
and as kind of bad buzzsaw is. Laserbeak being mostly black makes it tempting. Going to have to get it for the new soundwave anyway.

i just saw primal as another leader like rodimus he was never an "optimus prime" to me
Starscream 91
Well Fun Pub is repainting their Botcon Oilmaster into Optimus Prime, so…
The Kup
It would destroy this whole entire website!
Anyways, I'll probably get Rumble and Frenzy since the FOC ones suck and I'll probably skip on Laserbeak (already have Buzzsaw) and Ravage (Too blocky)

Imagine what would happen if HasTak made an Optimus triple changer that turns into both a truck and a monkey.
The TRUKK NOT MUNKY debate would implode.
