Worf
It's an interesting game to say the least. Maybe too simple for adults, but it's interesting enough.
I will say there are several things I'm disappointed about, and probably anyone who plays it will be just as disappointed.
First, the bots don't speak. And I mean they could've said a catchphrase during the victory screen, instead of just doing a victory pose. It's such a perfect opportunity for it. During the game itself, fine, but the victory screen really needs the bots speaking.
Second, no theme song? Rescue Bots has a rather unique theme song they could've played during the title screen, but didn't.
Third, well, even though it's free, you really have to purchase Blades and Boulder otherwise you can't do certain missions and complete a level that requires 3 or 4 bots.
Finally, I think it's a bit.. repetitive, given each bot only has two things it can do, it's always the same. I mean, doing Chase's find the hiding human gets a bit boring the fourth time you do it on a level.
Despite this, it's pretty good for a first release. Hoping the second release fixes those issues. It's got some polish to it and I don't mind first releases missing stuff, as long as it does get resolved eventually.

From what I've seen they have a bot and a vehicle mode mission for each bot. Heatwave puts out fire in bot mode and uses his ladder in vehicle mode; Chase transports people avaiding obstacles in vehicle mode and lights way for people in dark places in robot mode; Boulder digs path as a vehicle and repairs electric devices as a robot; finally, Blades catches things as a robot and transports people to safety as a helicopter. And I'm clearly not sure about all 32 combinations being possible – volcano clearly has all 8, but I've only seen everyone but Blades in robot modes for power plant. Can anybody confirm that Heatwave, Chase and Boulder have vehilce missions at power plant, Heatwave and Blades – robot missions at doc's lab or Boulder a robot mission at the river?

It's different than the LeapPad game. My son is thoroughly enjoying it as I type.
nstanosheck
It seems very similar to the LeapPad Rescue Bots game that my sons love.
