Sources from United Kingdom suggests that part of the Transformers 5 principal photography may take place in UK and Iceland. It is stated that the production studio; Paramount is currently scouting locations in Europe for a summer shooting with Michael Bay in the director’s chair.
“The production is understood to be weighing up locations in the UK, Iceland and other international territories alongside a US shoot.
The previous two films, Transformers: Age of Extinction(2014) and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), shot largely in the US. But a franchise first UK shoot could bring with it significant benefits in the shape of the UK tax credit should the production hit the minimum spend threshold. Iceland also offers an enticing incentive for inward investment productions.”
The article also states that filming of The Bumblebee Movie and Transformers 6 may also take place in UK.
Transformers 2007 primarily took place in US, with Revenge of the Fallen in Egypt, Dark Of The Moon returning to US and Age Of Extinction taking place in China.
Transformers 5 is set to release on June 23rd, 2017.

Cool. European locations can be very mystical and enchanting.

Seems like London is going to see a lot of destruction as of late. With London Has Fallen and now Transformers being filmed there. Gonna be lots of pretty explosions

Ha, I did Canary Wharf At first, but I thought it seemed to make too much logical sense for these movies!
Galvatross
I believe the Arctic scenes in AOE, both end-Cretaceous and modern, were filmed in Iceland.

I reckon Canary Wharf would make a better city bot:
Hey! I can see my desk in this picture. I wonder how I can be an extra /rubs hands together

Oh awesome. I look forward to seeing the tranformed London Eye and Big Ben clock tower locked in mediocre combat.

Filming in the UK..?
Makes me nostalgic for the Marvel UK stuff where things like Shockwave (reported dead in the US comic) would turn up alive, off the coast of Blackpool… Or Action Force would track a protectobot through the sewers of London, and Grimlock and Centurion would take on Straxus/Megatron by the Thames..
Stonehenge as Space Bridge? I like that idea.

Uk and Bumblebee that rings MARK RYAN TBH.

Tax credits are something that every movie production looks for now, because the amount of money states, provinces, or countries will give them is staggering. California becomes a lot less attractive for production when places like British Columbia will pay 50 or 60% of their production cost.

Of course it's Iceland… Bay saw this news:
'Fast and Furious 8' to Film Big Explosion in Iceland
And said "we'll see about that."

United Kingdom has some amazing architecture. I'm sure they can get some beautiful shots and it'll be different too. As for Iceland, it's the same thing. The gorgeous green grass and the rocky planes can bring a sense of depth to the setting. Seeing the size of the mountains compared to the Transformers will be amazing (kind of how when the Dinobots were introduced).

It was just one letter–easy typo. Either place would make an interesting setting in their own way. Although, maybe subconsciously you wanted us to see Lucky Charms' backstory
