Weibo user zmultiplier has uploaded another artwork image of the upcoming Titans Return Alpha Trion! Although the image is both cropped and in black-and-white, it gives us a somewhat better impression of what his overall full body will look like, wielding a sword and very clearly featuring beast mode elements, most notably on his shoulders.
Check it out, and stay tuned to TFW for all the upcoming New York Toy Fair news!

Except it's really a matter of "these toys are too similar to each other" than in-fiction appearance considerations. The Trailbreakers are really close in appearance to each other for people who don't pay much attention to detail the way we on the fanboards do; they'd just see another black pickup and go on their merry way. T30 Jhiaxus is absolutely nothing like what a theoretical TR Scourge-as-Jhiaxus would be; from orage jet to white/yellow bathtub? There's certainly room in the market to share the two, especially 2 years apart from each other.
Raiyuki
Trailbreaker though is a G1 Autobot with a toy and apperances in the show and comics. So he's less of a risk to do than another Jhiaxus.
Autovolt 127
Normally I'd say it's too soon for that but considering how fast they made a new Trailbreaker between Generations and CW, it could maybe work.

Man now I want it to happen! Lol also he has the blocky head for a headmaster it could work.
T-Hybrid
Oh yeah! I could see that.
00raiser956
Had a remold idea for Scourge anyone else think we could get a comic accurate Jhiaxus from his mold. I saw a pic its on his page on the tfwiki.net not sure how to post a pic in here but its there right under the Regeneration one area and it had Rodimus Prime there looking at Jhiaxus in vehicle mode. To me it looks an awful lot like Scourge just add wings to the back end. If we could get a new Jhiaxus I would so buy him cuz that Generations one is ugly lol
Autovolt 127
I really could go for this.
Lord Dcast
I honestly don't care about the repaints/retools. Alpha's okay for me.
T-Hybrid
The other reason to root for Alpha Trion/Victory Leo that could combine with a future Star Saber would be that it means we could see a Ginrai down the road for PMOP.
Edwardmus Prime
No repaints/remolds I can think of that haven't been brought up already.
I kind of like that Alpha Trion is a Headmaster. It could make for interesting situations like knowing things because he studied them using his Headmaster's smaller stature to fit into spaces he couldn't. If he upgrades bots, his smaller hands can work with more sensitive bits and bops to make his work better.
Oh, I almost forgot: the image of a space ship with lion kibble on it sounds crazy and kind of awesome, like some very weird metal album cover or something.
Autobot Burnout
Because combining. Why make one toy, when you can make two that basically advertise each other by existing for the gimmick of being able to combine?
Plus, Victory Saber is…basically Star Saber wearing parts of Victory Leo as shoes and a winged gun backpack. The robot mode really integrates nothing about Victory Leo into it besides big platform shoes, side wings, and three more guns on the torso.
Spectra
Everybody keeps talking about a hypothetical Victory Leo repaint needing to combine with a similarly-hypothetical Star Saber, but what if Hasbro just made a Voyager Victory Saber? You'd have a jet mode, a lion mode, and a robot mode that integrates Leo and Saber's designs into one toy.
BWfan86
That makes sense

CW ports don't fit into Cybertron Prime's shoulder's. I've tried. Too small.
And yeah, they can call him whatever they want. I'm up for a Cybertron homage with the name since I never had (or actively wanted really) Nemesis Breaker. I just called him Nemesis Leo because that seems to be the naming convention for taking binary-named character A and rereleasing him in black and teal as binary-named character B.
Collectibot
BW20 Lio Convoy from Alpha Trion from Takara. That's my prediction.
T-Hybrid
That's not who I was referring to.
That's who I was referring to.
SG Roadbuster
Razorclaw's yellow, black, and orange would clash horribly with Overlord's white, black, and teal. Nemesis Breaker would be a better match. or maybe a Universe 2003 Razorclaw (the tigerhawk redeco)
Autobot Burnout
Hasbro's made regular acknowledgements of popular things from the comics – the last one I recall being the otherwise pointless inclusion of Autobot logos on the sticker sheet for Leader Megatron and the instructions explicitly pointing out where to put them on the toy – and both Star Saber and Overlord have been demanded as Generations figures practically since the point of their introduction into IDW lore.
Star Saber of course being a radical retooling of Overlord, of course, and Overlord seems extremely likely for already mentioned reasons, but also because the original character was the paired off rival for PMOP, who IS getting the TR release.
I'm not sure how they could pull off combining the AT mold to a theoretical Star Saber/Overlord, since IIRC Victory Leo needs to split apart vertically, among other places, to form the Victory Saber armor.
And the last time we got somebody who split in half? Energon Wing Saber. Sure, as combiner kibble he does the impossible and makes Fatass Prime a decent figure, but stand-alone he has less body articulation than the freakin' G1 Duocons.
I dunno, I'd think Nemesis Breaker would be better since his colors compliment Overlord's and people would be pissed to no end if Razorclaw was a combiner bit that wasn't associated with Predaking.
UNLESS they used the same combination system they used for CW…and apparently Armada since I recall somebody easily plugging in the Stunticons into Armada Tidal Wave's shoulder sockets (which also suggests this works with Cybertron OP and Megatron as I know Armada Tidal Wave's arms can use the Leo/Nemesis breaker arm sockets on those two).
Florgeysteve
Thinking about it, I think it might be an idea if they did do a Tigerhawk figure. I mean looking at the recent history of the comics you have two Tankors, 2 versions of Strafe and not to mention you have Tigatron and Airrazor confirmed within the IDW continuity.
Darkryt
I doubt that, since Overlord and Razorclaw have almost never been in the same room together.
But I would want if if they made it.
