Thanks to the Twitter page of p2099, we’ve received an image showing off four new Kabaya Candy model kits: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream. These Kabaya releases seem to be resembling, or at least inspired by, the short lived and hard to find Cyber Battalion figures. These four figures take it a step further though by being able to combine! Yes that’s right, a combiner consisting of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream is reality.
We will update you as more news breaks! Check out the image after the jump.

You must spend some time with a g1 Shockwave or Shackwave.. the peg is nothing
And I have this mental image of them combining.. and proceeding to beat themselves up, bashing telephone poles and cars over their head like some insane martial artist exhibitionist. Cannotcooperatatron Indeed

gasp!! now i only realized Megatron has one of the most unfortunately designed crotch ever, that awkward peg…….

This is so novelty but I'm still gonna get it LOL

Well…looks like one less purchase to make.
SERIOUSLY KABAYA?! WHY DO YOU ENGINEER PARTSFORMING WHEN YOU DON'T NEED TO?! STAR CONVOY DIDN'T PARTSFORM!
WishfulThinking
Uh, they ALL partsform.
Bumblebee takes off his back to form the vehicle.
Megatron has to use his shield to form the base of the tank turret to which you pop the arms onto.
Optimus appears to require the arms to be popped off and repositioned.
Starscream is, yes, the worst offender of all, needing a complete reassembly.
But they all require some form of part-swapping to get from bot to vehicle mode — which is also part of the gimmick in that the parts can then be rearranged into the official combiner or other fan ideas. It's a very Mugenbine idea, which does have its appeal. Hopefully, they'll follow up with more characters. But yeah, these really aren't intended to be your Legion figures…especially since they'll be larger than legion scale, if they're like prior releases. generally, they're more like Legion commander sized.

Is this coming to TFSource?

A case most likely will be 2 full sets. Candy toy cases are sometimes blind boxed, but the same ones are usually put in in each case. However, the image of the box suggests that they will tell you upfront who is in each box and that they're not blind-bagged at all, similar to how the Sentai Minipla Candy Toys are done, with the image featuring Optimus' box.

BBTS now has listings up for random singles and a case of 8.
I'm assuming that means you have a chance at two full "teams"?
Lord Dcast
They're not bad when you compare them to what they were supposed to replace; one-step, three-step and ___-step changers.
T-Hybrid
I kinda want to hunt down the Cyber Battallion to mod them into this.
Robert Snoke
you know something is really wrong when the larger Cyber Battalion toys lacked any form of gimmicks thus being crap while the smaller & cheaper candy toys is godly on a different level as in being fun to play, eh, but screw the terrible Cyber Battalion line, makes me question how Hasbro approved the idea in the first place.

Optimus's alt. mode reminds me a bit of Generations Orion Pax.
Lord Dcast
Okay, so Starscream looks like he partsforms but the rest look like they thankfully don't. I can forget about the combined mode and just use these guys as legion scale.

Looks like something out of Gurren Lagann.
Anyway, I'm reconsidering skipping this, as if they're able to transform from robot to vehicle without partsforming (which isn't mostly the case) then I can easily ignore the combined mode.
