Thanks to TFW2005 member Kiresu, we’ve received an interesting piece of news suggesting that Masterpiece Bumblebee will be seeing a Toys ‘R Us release. Kiresu provided this evidence this morning with the computer listing for Masterpiece Bumlebee that includes a Spike figure, priced at $64.99.
Hasbro has made a valiant effort to release most Masterpieces through Toys ‘R us, so this “rumor” has some serious weight behind it.
Stay tuned here as more information becomes available.

Well, if you prefer Spike to have a robot face…

Is is for Spike or Bumblebee?
TFXProtector
A replacement face panel. It has a slightly different facial expression.

What's the yellow and white piece ?

It's a shame that by the time Hasbro and TRU drag their asses to a release, the demand has already petered out. But it's a bigger shame that both of these dummies will use this as an excuse that the market can't support collector toys. I don't believe for a second that a significant number of these were manufactured and that they're still available anyway is damning.

Available for ship to home (again), limit 1 item per customer, in case anyone still needs:
Transformers Generations Masterpiece Bumblebee – Hasbro – Toys "R" Us

Thing is with tax at tru it would roughly be about the same so its not really that bad paying extra $5 for it.

Anyone doing that would just be clueless scalpers since you can get the takara versions cheaper than that lol. I would imagine they have no idea they scalped the wrong toy and if they loaded up on them will be stuck with them.

I saw they were sold out online as well so I ended up picking him up. I had a 5.00 off reward coupon to use and I don't have the takara version of him so why not.
transmasterc
none in my area but I am sticking with the Tak version I have.
Exodus
Could be, although I'm wondering if people are actually buying it from Ebay…and I just checked TRU.com and they're actually sold out of it which is a surprise. They never sold out of the other bot cars online did they?
Keeno
BBTS just had the Takara version on sale for $59.99. I suspect we will see more of that if one can be patient. My guess on the prime offer is that you are getting the 2-day shipping for the $5. It's a pain in the ass to get to my TRU, so $5 may be worth it to have it delivered for folks that can't get to their store as easily.

Being listed for $80-100 isn't the same as being sold for that. Definitely optimistic scalpers. I'm sure he'll go on clearance eventually like most other MP cars.
I definitely wouldn't recommend that, why would you want to pay $5 more?
Sylent
I saw one at my local TRU over the weekend. Glad I got it from Entertainment Earth at SDCC for $60 with no tax. Plus, he came with a Funko BB, which I guess, makes it worth the $60.
Friendross
I'd recommend getting him from Amazon, Takara version, for 69.99 prime
Retroheavy
Ok, so these are going anywhere from 80-100 on ebay. Should I jump on the ones at my TRU or are these just overly optimistic scalpers trying to make a quick buck before everyone realizes they can just pick them up at their local TRU.

Found 2 at Manchester NH TRU
