Online retailer and site sponsor Premium Collectables has put up a listing for one of the upcoming Combiner Wars combiners, Computron! Computron has been the talk of the town recently with many black and white leaks of art work and references using previous uses of the molds that are anticipated to be used to create the Technobots. However, we don’t have any images of the actual team nor the combined mode. With Toy Fair only a few weeks away though, fans can rest assured we’ll likely have those images soon!
The set is currently up for the Early Bird pre-order price of approximately $120 AUD ($82 USD) and is expected to be available sometime during either August or September. Click the discussion link below to share your thoughts and excitement, and be sure to click the pre-order link to secure your set of Technobots before they’re gone!

I personally won't bother with any preorders till we see what this set actually is. If we really are getting a CW Computron as a boxed set I wanna see pics of the figures even if they're just 3d renders like we've been getting as of late.
Once BBTS or TCP put theirs up we'll probably have actual pics and know what this is.

I thought this was a G1 Computron premium release and got pissed as I just bought the G1 version a few months ago. Misleading pic guys.
Autovolt 127
I'm thinking maybe we'll see him July at earliest?
scrapmetaru
I think he's saying that the joke's a bit stale.

If Liokaiser is an SDCC set I'd hold off and get whatever Takara does. Because if Hasbro decided to do one I can't imagine Takara being too far behind.
Thundershot
Bruticus? Oh, the G2 one… Anything on Liokaiser? I have a bad feeling he's gonna be a SDCC exclusive…
payres
The red one? There was a point to it though, producing a toy in colours that match the toy it's meant to combine with
MnemonicSyntax
This is his shtick. He makes these posts that often contradict each other just to try to stir up a response.
I guess to try to be clever? I dunno.

Bud you need to refresh your material. Which is doubly ironic.
Toy fair isn't that far away, we'll know then. Probably.

Thanks for clearing that up. Would that mean these are street-dated or if Hasbro shipped them out early for whatever reason we could see a similar situation to Superion where he just pops into existence randomly on one site or another and then a week alter is everywhere?
My upside is that *so far* it appears to be a situation where there's plenty of stock. So as long as your online in the first day or so of release even Victorion and Computron should be obtainable w/out much hassle.

Same here, I was so excited, then I read the news, reading sucks!

No, you won't see pre-orders/in stock sales until those dates.
These online box sets don't really have pre-sales dates like the main line(deluxe, voyage ect.) These are effectively "on-shelf" if you were lucky enough to have Hasbro ship them to you then on he specified release date you can begin selling them, if not then you accept pre-orders.
For now, Victorion is scheduled 5/1 and Bruticus is 7/1. I wouldn't expect Computron here in the U.S. until October.

Agree. Has to has become lazy, and the transformers brand is in serious danger of collapse. It's time Hasbro makes a new mold for every single toy. Computron is one of the most important character/toys in Transformers history and we and he deserve better! Hasbro owes us.
Transmorph633
To me a lazy repaint/ retool would be the Cybertron Leobreaker "Leo Prime." At least these are using actual combiner wars molds and everything except Scattershot have been pretty decent reuses of them so far.

It is a sweet price, but paying overseas shipping for something that isn't Asian exclusive we know is going to hit US shores seems a bit hasty.
Exodus
Has anyone from here actually purchased from these guys? I did grab the Galvatronus set and a few things to get the free USD shipping, hopefully these guys pan out. I figure they're legit because they're a sponsor, but I did email them question one time and they never got back to me…

Why do people think the line is doing poorly when Hasbro literally said the *opposite* in their investor meeting.
Hell, they're doing better than expected. They expect a drop after every movie year, and while they got one it wasn't as big as expected and I believe smaller than previous years as well.
shadowfall1976
You seriously think the brand is doing poorly just because of repaints and retools. You do realize repaints and retools potentially maximize profits right?
And…since when is it lazy to retool a mold to make a similar toy, but looks different. Just because it transforms the same…doesn't make it lazy.
And damn, I'm guessing you don't collect lines like MOTUC and DCU, because almost every male figure shares the exact same base body…
I'm personally wanting this more than any G1 Computron reissue.
Powerglide1991
No…
It keeps the line simple, easy to manage. All these figures are meant to interact with each other in a way (deluxes with voyagers) all using the same connectors so you can mix and match. whats the point of making 3 different Helicopter molds when only 2 of them actually require it? Alpha Bravo was only put in simply thanks to IDW and to be a different 3rd use.
2 different car molds were obviously needed, no point in needing anymore as most of the combiner cars looked practically identical in g1
The Jets are blatantly obvious, why make 4 when again, in G1 they transformed exactly the same and they obviously only needed one tank mold
Throw in a truck mold and remold a newly introduced swat vehicle into a buggy and you are good to go for every combiner unit who appeared in g1. Why should they all need to have unique molds? Every figure (bar Blast off) looks near enough how they looked in the 80's isn't that all that matters?
The TF toy line can't be doing be that bad, besides Starwars and lego, nothing else has as much shelf space in stores. It's one of the most unique toy lines around, to stay it must be doing bad is silly.

Hope Computron gets a new head.
