Sockie
I don't believe anyone was thinking otherwise.

Airachnid =/= Blackarachnia.
It'd be neat if Tarantulas and Airachnid are working together though.
Sockie
But literally everything else screams "Tarantulas," not Airachnid. Mesothulas is a scientist, connected to the police, cackles, his name sounds just like Tarantulas's, his silhouette looks like Tarantulas's transmetal form…
And the IDW universe version of Blackarachnia was already introduced in Windblade. It would make no sense for this to be her.
Argus
Would be nice to see Airachnid as well though. The whole tied up thing fits more with her M.O.
On the other hand, B.A. just got herself a new toy…
Dramatic Spoon
Verminator, perhaps?
Kickback
Just to note.
Mesothelae is a suborder of spiders. The character's name is "Mesothulas", Prowl is trapped in webbing, oh and the Tarantulas/Black Arachnia Spider model is based off a Mesothelae …
Yup. Tarantulas.
Furnace
No, not Stampy. It's the Death Bunny! (credit to EmGo)
Sovietbot
Also of the same opinion!)
Roadbuster25
I expected a lot more explosions by now.
BB Shockwave
Stampy, is that you?
Purple Heart
Geez Stakeout just propose to her already.
Zylly103
Nice to see them continuing to hammer home the point that Prowl is, pretty much, utterly incapable of believing that he's capable of being wrong. In fact, he's crossed over into tautological territory. "Whatever I'm doing is right, because I'm the one that's doing it."
It's a fantastic way to take the character–and combined with his extreme pragmatism–has been an interesting journey. He's the perfect guy you love to hate.
But how long can it go on? Sooner or later, he needs to get real comeuppance for his actions.
I also agree with the Tarantulas vote. Hopefully in his Transmetal-body.

And yeah, the animals only add further credence to the theory that Tarantulas is the one who's holding Prowl hostage.
The Mad Demobot
Something better be dropped kicked in this issue and it better be endangered. .
And yeah, like someone said, it looks like Verity's got some sort of cancer or some type of radiation sickness. Hanging around those type of 'Bots aren't good for your health. The whole pregnancy theory is SO far fetched it's ridiculous. Hunter's dead, Jimmy's on the wrong side and hasn't revealed to have spoken to her previously. Even if she is pregnant, it's character assassination.
Veritas Prime
Anyone else expecting that rabbit to be defeated by a hand grenade?
But honestly there is something weird going on with the animals here.

Theory: Prowl's captor,
, is
. There's a few possible clues – the webbing, the manner of his speech, and his background in developing weapons and other means of interrogation.
As for Verity, my gut instinct was cancer. No idea why. But that is what came to my mind.
Autovolt 127
Oh it is rabbit season now!!!
Collectibot
I will purchase this issue.
SG Roadbuster
are they implying that Stakeout and Verity are some kinda nutty, cross-species romantic couple?
and Verity's condition+Stakeout's concern reeks of pregnancy symbolism.
conclusion: Verity is gonna give birth to a Protoform
