Australian Video-On-Demand service Presto will have Transformers: Robots In Disguise Season 2 up for streaming from this December.
The first season of the show is already available on Presto.
With it, Australia becomes the first country to air the next season. Last time China was the first country to air Season 1 followed closely by France. Amazingly, both seasons of the show will now be available on the same year.
It was previously stated that Season 2 will have 16 regular episodes and a TV Movie.
This will surely delight our fans from land down under.
No further details were available and you can find the Press Release, after the jump.
Update: 2005 Boards Member BigRed points out that Presto may be considering the first half of Robots In Disguise season one (Episodes 1 to 13) as Season #1 and the second half of season one (Episodes 14 to 26) as Season #2 judging by the fact that there are only 13 episodes on Presto official website under Season 1.

Thanks for the official clarification, Griffin.

Email reply from Presto, to my question about verifying the actual season available in December…
As people have guessed, it is NOT season 2, but just the second half of Season 1… which they assumed was Season 2 based on what they were told by the program's provider.
Lord Dcast
Well that's a relief. I was worried for a second there. Murdoch hasn't won yet.
spiritprime
Yes, yes, yes!!!!
*does a double take* Well fuck…
Lord Dcast
Oh you piece of s**t. OH YOU PIECE OF S**T! NO! NO NO NO NO NO NO! I am NOT going to support Rupert Murdoch again. Foxtel in Australia is on its last legs, with everyone finally realising what a pig of a man he is and moving over to Netflix and Stan. Presto and that broadband box they're selling with William Shatner to promote it are the last attempts at drawing in the public, and nobody's listening.
NO! I will NOT stand for this. If this is so far the only way to watch it, then yar har fiddle de dee you mother f****r!
TCJJ
Great, so it's another Netflix wannabe, and of course Foxtel is behind it. Hopefully it's not as complete shite as Sky's Neon (no HD streaming in 2015? Fucking WHAT?) here in New Zealand, but seriously, can we just put it on Netflix and be done with it?
I guess the haters got what they wanted though. I hope anyone and everyone who actively wanted this show to fail realises that its failure isn't actually a positive for Transformers as a whole.
It's a shame too because the show is actually rather decent. It isn't an amazing show by any means, but it's still quite good for what it is.
Autovolt 127
I get that impression too…shame they just won't just ride it out.

Aw shoot
I got really excited for a moment there. Oh well.
I was thinking that maybe "Season 1-2" would mean the second half of season 1 plus season 2, but it seems unlikely if the actors were still recording on September.
Reask
A TV Movie? Yep, this show is canned now. Hope we get to see the rest of the Thirteen before it's over, at least give me my Liege Maximo story.
Purple Heart
Thats also how Takara handled the show if I believe, with season 1 split up into two seasons.
SilverOptimus
It appears you have a valid point. I'll update the news post. Thank you very much.

Presto's site lists RID Season 1 as just episodes 1 to 13 so far, it's possible that their season 2 will just be episodes 14 to 26. I mean it's unlikely RID's season 2 will be completed in time for December since the actors were still recording in September/2015 according to their twitter.
SilverOptimus
Machinima series is a web-series as far as I know. RID wouldn't make an impact on it.
Megastar
I think They're just getting this show out of the way for Machinima's Combiner Wars show.
Coffee
Why does Optimus look like Bumblebee just let one rip and doesn't know whether to say anything or not?
kaijuguy19
Hopefully this will mean that we could get the episodes loaded up online to see like what happened with season 1
Shizuka
Seriously? I feel like they're really trying to get this show over an done with.
