When Transformers Devastation was released, Gamestop and select other retailers worldwide offered a special DLC bundle with the game to grant you the option to play as Nemesis Prime, Goldfire (Goldbug), and Red Alert. This DLC, as it turns out, is not a mere “preorder only” thing, as from next week (November 10th to be precise) the Devastation bonus skins will be available for general purchase on Playstation Network (and by extension, we assume it will also be available for Xbox at around the same time).
This DLC not only unlocks the three character skins for the game, but also three new weapons – the Dark Star Saber from Transformers Prime, the Golden Hunter twin rifles, and the Photon Disruptor. All three are powerful weapons that can be used by any characters you care to play as – so yes, Grimlock can slice and dice with the Dark Star Saber.
There’s no word yet on if Activision will offer further DLC for Transformers Devastation, but we remain hopeful there will be something cool in store. Check out the original report on the Playstation Blog.

never a fan of this as it determines what suit you wear. if a bad look has good bonuses and your preferred suit has bad bonuses what would you wear? there was a game called fable and although it had loads of choices pretty much everyone in the game ended up with plate armour as it was the best.
the second game took the bonuses away and allowed you to wear what you wanted. so you had people attacking bosses in floral bonnets, nightwear, steam punk, medieval armour etc

Oh god why.

Or maybe "Doomed shuttle revenge" having a lone Prowl against Megatron and the Constructicons (or just a ton of cloned Scavengers).
Man the Constructicons have had it out for Prowl for a while…

i think "break free from control" with the background being the spacebridge to resemble prowl's mind, while fighting devastator and (insert insecticon name here) would be cool too.
GrimlockPrimal
I'd love to see Grimlock get a challenge where he has to solo all the Constructicons and Devastator in one go titled "Grimlock's Challenge", myself.
Datsun87
Would it be in bad taste if I wanted a Prowl focused challenge where he solos the Constructicons in a DLC pack titled "Constructicon lives matter"?
Edit – would "Police Brutality" be less rage inducing?

Looks like 4.99 for Xbox live dlc.

wait what Binaltech Nemesis Prime might actually be Optimus Primal….
MindChamber
i want more actual gameplay.. or MP… no thanks
emoo
But that's what has happened in all the transformer games so far, most other games too. Sadly I expect this is the only dlc this game will ever have although I'd love to be proven wrong.

Alright, let's run through the origins because everybody seems to disagree on it. CONTINUITY MASTERS I REQUIRE YOUR ASSISTANCE
2003 (Armada) Nemesis Prime – Unicron created being to go smash Autobots and Decepticons
2003 (Universe) Nemesis Prime – Unicron created clone who serves as a Minion of Unicron. (This apparently becomes the Alternity Nemesis Prime, but Alternity wrecks my brain)
2006 (Alternators) Nemesis Prime – Arkeville creates the mightiest Alternator body ever, needs help with life force. Apparently there's a nod that the body is used by Unicron to use Universe Nemesis Prime's life force to create a new body for it. *THIS BACKSTORY MAY NOT BE CANON*
2007 (Binaltech) Nemesis Prime – *SIDE NOTE BINALTECH GIVES ME A HEADACHE* Arkeville uses a cloner to create a copy of Optimus. He is unable to create the life force, but a mysterious spark appears and takes over the body. This spark was from the future and was known as the Protector. Then the evil AI takes over the spark. (So evil Primal according to tfwiki?)
2007 (IDW) Nemesis Prime – Dead Universe version of Nova Prime. Hooray for the most different origin!
2008 (Classics) Nemesis Prime – Straxus rebuilds some poor Decepticon into an evil version of Optimus which naturally drives him crazy. He then runs around attacking everything.
2011 (Animated) Nemesis Prime – dark cloning by Decepticons! Straxus steals it! Doesn't really show up!
2012 (Prime) – Human crew MECH built an evil Optimus Prime, no mind of its own as it's controlled by MECH
2013 (Go!) – "evil version of Hunter Optimus Prime from another dimension"
2013 (Legends) – Arkeville creates a dark clone of Optimus and it shockingly goes crazy.
2013 (Loyal Subjects) – It took the form of Optimus Prime and went on a rampage. I don't think there's a more specific origin.
2013 (Masterpiece) Nemesis Prime – Created by Unicron, he smashes stuff while trying to resurrect Unicron.
2014 (Age of Extinction) – created by a secretive human organization. He's friends with Nemesis Grimlock.
2014 (Generations) Nemesis Prime – Dark clone and servant of Unicron
Look at the variation! It's all over the place for such an easy black repaint. If anybody wants to help contribute, that'd be cool. Also if you can explain Alternity / Binaltech I may become a fan of yours for life.
Autovolt 127
Except that he's always like that.
Not every Nemesis Prime is Black Convoy/Scourge.
Lord Black Cat
I think that poster was referring to the equally used Unicron origin starting from Armada in 2003. Unicron's influence as creator of Nemesis Prime is probably the slightly more frequent origin.
2006, you're referring to alternators Nemesis right? Wasn't that an Arkeville creation that was being manipulated by Unicron to create a new body for Universe Nemesis Prime?
Tripredacus
Goldfire's guns are yellow colored G1 Ultra Magnus toy guns. Were these already in the game?
griffin-of-oz
I think it is still only for PS4.
I haven't found it yet for PS3 on the Playstation Store.
Starscream Gaga
The original G1-universe version of Nemesis Prime came out in 2006, before any of the others. My point is he hasn't "become" anything. G1 Nemesis Prime has always been a human-created clone with only a few exceptions.
Lord Black Cat
The most recent release was that of the smaller size Nemesis Prime. That was a Unicron creature that raged against others.
The Classics version was a Decepticon experiment that wandered around breaking everything it found.
IDW Nemesis was the not long lasting "repaint" of Nova Prime.
Nemesis Prime is all over the place. It would have been easier to just say it's an evil looking Optimus type robot.
Starscream Gaga
G1 Nemesis Prime's backstory has been that since as far back as Binaltech. It's less "what he's become" and more what he is.
This DLC is free in Australia.

no arcee? come back when you got arcee dlc…
Optimus.Magnus
I don't know, but I honestly prefer this game's color scheme for him over every other version.
