Thanks to the Facebook page of z75sales we’ve received an extensive gallery of the unreleased and rare set of Generation 2 Stunticons and combined form Menasor! Over the past couple of years we have seen a similar set go up for auction on eBay, selling for thousands of dollars each time. This piece of Transformers history is rare and not photographed all too often with there being maybe 10 or so complete sets known to collectors.
This particular set of images shows of the combined form of Menasor, being complete with the only exception being the missing G2 Menasor purple mask/head. The purple mask/head is one of the rarest pieces of this set and seen even less than the figures themselves.
We’ve mirrored a great number of these images for you after the jump, the full set of in-hand galleries of this vintage, unreleased set can be found on the Facebook page of z75sales. Enjoy!

Its from Ras. He owns a set of both

Could some please tell me the origin of this G2 Defensor / Menasor photograph? http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net…efensor.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20080628233900
Is it some internal Hasbro photograph?
I have bit of mystery, which is that the markings (on the purple piece that covers his groin) on the Menasor on my FB page and the one in the above photo look identical.
(looks like white marking in the shape of a candy cane)

Thank you. I have never understood not sharing photo of the Ultra Rare stuff. Maybe it is because it is very valuable and i guess there is a risk in breaking a piece? I am no photographer, I try to do as good as I can with what little lighting setup that I have thrown together.
Everyone has been super cool helping advise me when my ignorance has cause me to incorrectly transform something, then i would make the corrections and re-shoot it.

I ended up acquiring a collection of toys from a former Hasbro employee that had passed away, My association with that estate went through several steps and agreements.
To say I “were selling them on behalf of the deceased owner/widow” is inaccurate as the initial agreements between the estate and myself change rapidly. At least that is not the case now regarding what is left of the collection. The former owner is no longer involved with any pieces that were not sold, and all contractual obligations I had with them have long since been fulfilled.
Our agreement was private so I did not exact update any prior comments I may have made on the tfw2005 forum regarding the condition in which I began selling things, to the condition which I ended up selling things as the agreement evolved and contractual obligations were met.

Another great photo album. Great to see these shared with the fans. Appreciate you taking the time to photograph some history no one else has cared to document.
Repainted
I eagerly anticipate the CW versions just a little more now. A very good , detailed look at a truly obscured find. On another note, I hope the bootleggers are taking a good look *hint, hint*.
Kickback
Wait.
Weren't you the guy/gal who showed up claiming to have come in to a massive rare collection of items and, as a third party individual, were selling them on behalf of the deceased owner/widow?
Decide to keep a couple for yourself in the end?

Points for noting it was his "stepdad"… very good.
Yep, the colors look like some vomited day-glow on it. But, Drag Strip is awesome in black I don't think anyone would argue that.
warriorpriest
That has nothing to do with G2 neon colors. If you actually paid attention to the movie he say that the is the cup of a carpenter. Jesus' stepdad was a carpenter and taught him the trade. So why would the Lamb of God who is suppose to teach humility be drinking from a cup made of gold?
Of course you could have meant this is one of rarest and ugliest G2 toys that makes it the grail everyone seeks…. then ignore everything above.
starwarsprotos
Remember in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade… the correct holy grail was the ugliest cup in the room.
Skyclaw
I know this is supposed to be the holy grail, but damn those colors are fugly!! What is it with odd colors and the 90's? I know drugs was running rampant at that time, but was Hasbro employees doing drugs too?
Autovolt 127
Oh ok, still neat you got this going on.
I have to say he looks good with the black mask.
optimusmegas
while i appreciate the rarity of this item i can't help but want to throw up at the colors…..
god the 90s were insane with random neon…
Underlord
That dragstrip looks absolutely gorgeous in black. I may be a bit biased though, as dragstrip is my favourite stunticon
UltraPrimal
Well, I guess these are pretty much worthless now that we're getting the Combiners Wars G2 Stunticons. I mean who would want these unarticulated GeeWun blocks of crap when you could get the beautiful, poseable, modern versions. I feel sorry for the poor saps who spent tens of thousands of dollars on these hunks of plastic and metal.
Kidding. Sort of.
prfctcellrulz
That's what the upcoming Combiner Wars G2 Menasor box set is for: An affordable way to finally get G2 Menasor without having to mortgage your home.
starwarsprotos
No plans for a comparison. I just wanted to make some detailed photos for the world to enjoy.

Awesome find Starwarsprotos! Are you going to get the CW G2 Menasor so you can do comparison pictures between the two?
