Courtesy of Transformers At The Moon, we’ve received word of Hasbro filing for two new trademarks: Autobot Tracks and Combaticons. The filing for Combaticons makes sense given the Combiner Wars Bruticus is right around the corner (seen at NYCC this week).
The Autobot Tracks submission is a little more guess-heavy, it may be time to start speculating. Will there be a Titans Return version of the character? Does this mean a USA Hasbro Masterpiece is planned given MP-25 Tracks will be releasing soon by Takara? We’re not sure what these mean yet, if it’s anything big like a Masterpiece release.
So, time to start speculating in the forum thread! The full trademark info can be seen after the jump.

DOTM Bumblebee
You barely saw Tracks' legs in the movie. I'm thinking a US release of Masterpiece Tracks. I don't get why they would release him in the US first instead of the more well-known Wheeljack or Bumblebee (though, then again, I doubt they'd need to apply for those trademarks ), but I'm glad we may be getting him. The Combiner Wars Combaticons are obvious, of course.

what
dragon
Did military sign name over to hasbro of combat icons, ford good job giving name tracks to hasbro ford and military don't have name of vehicles combat icons and tracks what am I talking about
Opprime-G1
Oh I hope it's for MP Tracks. I love me some Tracks.
jbwkkl
I'd be excited if, for long-term plans, they're considering the Combaticon's for TF5.
*on a side note, IF we got the Combaticon's in any movie, could they still use Brawl? Technically the name hasn't been used yet in the movies.
scrapmetaru
Call me not a man who understands trademark, but shouldn't they have gotten these before they announced the Combaticons?
Johntimus Prime
I'd kill for a reissue of Alt Tracks but I doubt Hasbro wants to revisit that line.
Rodimus Mike
Without a doubt, this will be MP Tracks as Hasbro never passes up a chance to get GM products on the shelves since they are basically in business with each other.Forget Combiner Wars or Titans Return those are just small change compared to MP's.Trust me it will be an MP.
Underwear
Given Hasbro's good relation with GM…a MP Tracks US release is inevitable.
Matty
I hope it means a Hasbro Tracks release, that'd make sense. Time to start speculating regardless
gotrei
MP Tracks is a good possibility if I had to take a guess.
Johntimus Prime
Combaticons make sense, but Tracks? Hmm…US version of MP Tracks? Or a version in Titans Return?
Purple Heart
I woudl hope we are getting a CW Tracks from Wheeljack in 2016 wave 3, but I doubt it's anything other then MP tracks.
marvel b
maybe its for the g2 combaticons?!?!

Once again, filing for trademarks via the USPTO office means Hasbro are aiming for a registered trademark (®). If the name isn't occupied, they can always use it as an unregistered trademark (™) as they have done in the past.
Filing for registered trademarks simply means Hasbro possibly have long-term plans for those trademarks and want to strengthen their claim on them.
Autovolt 127
Combaticons is obvious but Tracks…hmmmm?
gotrei
Indeed, it makes you wonder about this one being submitted right now.
WinstoBot
Cutting it close with "Combaticons" aren't they? They're about to hit toy shelves any day.
Wheeljack_Prime
It'd be easy to bring him over due to how good Hasbro is with GM these days.
BenjaminXavier
MP tracks in the US?
It doesn't make sense to make him (and only him!) as a Headmaster/Titan Wars figure, with the rumors saying they'll be 86 movie characters.
