We’ve got some interesting news via Louis Foldi of the Talk Transformers Facebook group. It seems that Robots in Disguise Warrior class Megatronus is out at US retail. The report tells us that Warrior Megatronus is out at the Toys R Us in Reno, NV – good news for those wanting to add the end-of-season big bad to their collections.
Now for the interesting part – it seems there might actually be two Robots in Disguise Warrior class Megatronus figures. This one is a Toys R Us exclusive, releasing under the Clash of the Transformers subline, and featuring the battlemask that Megatronus uses in the show. The possible second one has shown up in listings as a potential retail release (along with Warrior class Fracture) – and logically, it may feature the non-battlemask head shown on the leaked prototype. It’s been confirmed the toy that’s just been found does not have a flip-up battlemask – so that prototype has a different head sculpt.
Time will tell if we are right. For now, happy hunting!

So has anyone else found this yet?

Still no pictorial review for this guy?

This figure isn't any more or less articulated than your average CW combiner limb, minus (obviously) the combiner joint and gimmick.
The level of hollowness is the same.
Going full CGI is also how new molds for CW line were shown for the first time. Like Combaticons.
There isn't anything differing from Hasbro recent policies.
NuRiD character models are much simpler than Generations, they can't really put anything more on him than he has in TV show.

That right there is a pure Cyberverse Commander, or at the least a Scout-class figure. It it were advertised as such, it'd be really good. Instead, it's a deluxe, which makes it a $16 Scout.
Sorry, no.
astrocreep777
Are they selling him online anywhere and who has the picture of him in the unoffical gun mode that someone said.
Autovolt 127
Really…I had no idea?
Neat Fan mode.
Gingerchris
Has he got drill bits on his arse?
Cheebs
Hahaha. Their figures are soooooo cheap now that not even heavy Photoshop on a hand painted prototype can make it look marketable. They need to go full CG.

Agreed. It's a lot of fun right now. The warrior OP figure is a lot of fun, and Megatronus looks fantastic.
worldsgreatest

I need to go to a TRU soon I guess. I don't really have a convenient one near me though.

All other "warrior" figures have unmasked faces, so I see no point in having this one masked when in the show, when he finally shows in person, he has no mask.
So far face sculpts is what is ok in NuRiD, so I'd rather have a face sculpt on him.
Couldn't really care less about the mythos when the figure looks worse because of it.
Of course if there will be no unmasked version at all, I'm gonna compromise and get a masked one. But if there will be an unmasked version, I'm gonna wait till I can have him with a proper mug. ;]

I do agree that the company is basically phoning-in this line. The packaging looks horrible. Quality is suffering because of profits. Kind of reminds me the G2 line and how much effort they put into that line. Or the Action Masters line, transformers that don't transform.
IgnikaMarcus
Well good, cuz this is The Fallen.
Autoboty
He IS The Fallen.
BlueAngel_Bolt
Am I the only one who likes the mask? It reminds me of The Fallen.
