Knightsword
No, Snowcat was named that because his alt mode was a snowcat artic vehicle from GI Joe.
TFW10
thank you for sharing
wasn't there a decepticon called "snowcat" that looked similar with different to this new "ravage"?
Knightsword
Optimus Prime from Hot Spot
Sideburn from Hot Rod
Prowl from Breakdown
X-Brawn from First Aid
Skid-z from Dragstrip
Towline from Offroad

I know they'll probably still with US Beast Wars characters, but man, I really want some weird Japanese BW figure to be made as part of this set…
Ramjet555
Beast Wars sucks, so I can save money on this year, thank god.
Johntimus Prime
I really hate it when a toy meant to represent an animal character looks like they plopped an animal head on a body meant for a humanoid face.
This is that.
Soundwinder
Yep. Battle Ravage had a squarer head and a more rounded body (Corvette vs. lambo aside, the CW cars are VERY blocky) so the head worked a lot better.
Lumpy
I kinda think the remolded body for Victorion would work pretty well, but they might not have access to that version of the mold.
Yeah, I was thinking Scattorshot initially, just to vary up the molds. Definitely do NOT want it to be the Optimus mold… but Sky Lynx would work pretty well.
artiepants
and there's another option that'd be a good fit for the club.
Johntimus Prime
They could retool an MP cassette, but still wouldn't be accurate.
T-Hybrid
I wouldn't count out a CW Liokaiser. There's still TFCC 5.0, Botcon 2016, Takara, and a potential Wave 7/8 for CW.
But I would be shocked if we get through 2016 without at least hearing about who is doing CW Liokaiser and when.
Reask
Eh, it's probably the closest we're going to get to a toy version of Russian Ravage. I would have preferred a non transformable figure that's accurate to his new body, I mean obviously it's impossible to turn a slim ninja bot into a tape but still I would go the the slim ninja toy any day.
Johntimus Prime
I can see a Sky Lynx retool as someone…hell, maybe Silverbolt or Magnaboss' Prowl.
At least Sky Lynx was meant to be a beast to begin with and so that would make for a neat retool, unlike this.
WishfulThinking
So much for LioKaiser. Meh.
T-Hybrid
How does Tripredacus fit into IDW lore, if at all? Maybe they originally were a combiner team with Ravage and another guy and then realized they couldn't trust that and split off as their own team.
I do like your idea, though. A team of agents as opposed to the Council itself. Heck, if they wanted to…they could dig out some other molds and make the Council the attendee bonuses.
Regardless, still really like the idea of Sky Lynx/Magmatron.
rpetras
Yawn. This is not for me, at least not at botcon prices.
A black redeco of the mold, I would buy, but I don't like that version of Ravage.
artiepants
yeah, if it looked more like the Alternators head (harder angles, more 'square-isn'), I don't know that I'd actually like it, but it'd certainly be less off-putting.
artiepants
Love all this. Even Rook as X-Brawn would be cool for the reasons you stated (or maybe use the Swindle version) and have the attendee sets be Ruination, no retools required.
