Thanks to the official YouTube channel of TakaraTomy, we’ve received a handful of new transformation videos for Transformers Adventure figures releasing in October. The videos are purely transformation shorts, about a minute long, but give us a great look at these figures.
Included in the videos are the following figures:
- TAV29 Bumble Bee Supreme
- TAV30 Battle Grimlock
- TAV31 Black Shadow
- TAV32 Rumble & Frenzy
- TAVVS04 Stepper
- TED-13 Drift
- TED-14 Fracture
Click on the above hyperlinks to be taken to the videos. Enjoy!

That Grimlock just looks so good. Easily one of the best retools of all time.
That Guy
Man, Stepper shows what a nice color scheme can do for that mold. If we get a Kick-off or something from that mold in the collector's club or at a con, I won't mind one bit, maybe if nothing happens in the next year or two I'll pick up a Jazz and try it myself. Figure out a way to give him a good chin or something…
Darkstone
The only nitpick I saw in this video is that the dino thighs/robot shoulders have grooves for the sticker – both of them – but only one side has the sticker. I get why, because that way they only have to mold one piece twice, but that still kinda stinks. If they actually gave him two stickers, one on each side, that would've been nice.
But maybe they just put the sticker on the wrong shoulder which doesn’t have this grove with this prototype. I doubt it, but it could be.

Yeah it's something I didn't expect them to do but it's still cool.
After looking at it again I think they did make it so you can actually move the legs around this time due to the remolded parts so if that's the case then kudos to Takara even more for fixing a glaring problem from the original FOC mold.
I'm betting they'll make an RID15 Grimlock version of the set to be sure since a lot of people are going to be getting Battle Grimlock to add to their collection myself included.
bman29
Wow that is a great reuse of FOC Grimlock. Fingers crossed this comes stateside, or I'll just order one.

I wonder if Iron factory's Grimlock fix will also work with this Grimlock
MetalStorm
So….they Sky Shadow mold sees another use, the last time it was used was back in 2012. But it's an awesome mold and Black Shadow looks nice.

Blackshadow, Battle Grimmy, Stepper and Supreme Bee are all hawt!
Those mini vids are pretty rad, man.
^Exactly what I was thinking. Now those who want both New Drift and Stepper must buy those dull Swipe and Battle Jazz moulds. sigh.
TM2 Dinobot
That's a really cool looking Bumblebee.
Matty
That Grimlock and Bumblebee look fantastic!!!
Also love these short transformation videos.
Robogeek28
Mmmmmm, Grimlock.
Josh
dat grimlock
Darkstone
Yay! I love those videos.
I think they might rotate fine because they don't tab in like they do on the FOC-version of the mold… but we have to wait until he's in hand to be sure.
It is! I suspected they might do something like this since the dino-neck is considerably shorter here due to the lack of electronics, but it's nice to see how it works and it does close the backpack up nicely.
Feralstorm
Hard to say for sure. The legs don't appear to tab in the way they do on FOC Grim, but the joints that let the robot arms move around at the shoulder would still be put at an angle, so articulation in dino mode may still be messed up.
General Tekno
Is that step on Grimlock's backpack new? Neat.

Somehow I'm a little worried that Battle Grimlock's legs in T-Rex mode will be as static as the original FOC Grimlock mold was after seeing how the toy transforms but hopefully I'm wrong.

Stepper looks great. Would have preferred if he were packed with Drift Origin rather than plain old Sideswipe.
A black and white pairing would have been sweet.
