Following the trademark application filing of Autobot Wheelie and Backtrack, Hasbro has applied for several “new ” Trademarks. However, all the trademarks are not unheard of but they are not renewals either. All 4 new trademarks are under the category of “Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms”. They are currently on the status of “New application will be assigned to an examining attorney approximately 3 months after filing date.”
Predacon (Trademark ID: 86744890. Applied: September 07, 2015)
Terrorcon (Trademark ID: 86744892. Applied: September 07, 2015)
Both the above trademarks were in use recently for the Transformers: Prime animated series. However, both of them are filed as new applications while the old trademarks (under the same category) are still live (Old IDs: 76591204 and 76612277 respectively).
Barricade (Trademark ID: 86744893. Applied: September 07, 2015)
Barricade was most recently seen as a trademark associated with the Transformers Live Action Movies. This is a new application while the old application (76575597) under the same category is still live.
Brawn (Trademark ID: 86744891. Applied: September 07, 2015)
Brawn was first trademarked back in 2009 under the Trademark ID 76688909 (still live). There were several toys manufactured after that including a movie-verse toy in 2010 for the Revenge Of The Fallen Toyline.
What do you think of these new applications? Tell us your thoughts at the thread associated with this news post.

Barricade and Brawn? Yes please!!
Smitty.1981
Because of the G1 combiner teams that used those names.
Autovolt 127
Why does everyone assume Combiner Wars…why not Titan Wars?
Smitty.1981
Good old stand up and swap heads. Tail as weapon optional.
Smitty.1981
He'll be a repaint of Prowl.
Could be for RiD seeing at there were Predacons and Terrorcons in Prime.
We can only hope.

I also would really love a CW barricade, and since with that line a new mold isn't too likely, he probably be either Prowl retool or a Dragstrip retool to match his more recent IDW appearance. I'd be OK with either.
I wonder if Galvatronus will finally get his own limb set?
Murasame
I would like Barricade to have a similar… oh wait… is Barricade then a Bumblee repaint like Goshooter? Just as a Decepticon?
BidoofdudeofOz
They might end up pulling a CW Brawl with Brawn and give us a new one, since there haven't been many new moulds.
Canbot
Barricade for Movie MP line?…YESSSSS!…well one can hope, after all I'm a G1-only kinda guy as of late but I would drop coins for an MP Barricade.
Cast
They think beast modes require more tooling which is technically true, machine alt modes just need wheels or wings where beast modes tend to need legs with joints so more to tool. It can be some what off set by more simple transformations though.

I'm channeling my inner Mulder here, because I so badly want to believe. I was pretty disappointed at SDCC when they came out and said straight up no to beast combiners. I know that is the canned response because they can't talk about unannounced stuff, but do we really think these new trademarks mean we are getting these combiner teams? Did we see similar trademarks for like, "Defensor"?
I wanna jump on the hype train with everyone, but doesn't this look like they are trademarking generic names for like RID? Get me on the hype train guys, all work and no Abominus makes me a sad panda.
Starscream 91
I think these are just names being trademarked for future use down the line, but, Hasbro may have something for either NYCC or Toy Fair.
I just hope Brawn has his own mold, seriously he'd look ugly and out of place using Gears' mold. I love Barricade too and I want a classics Decepticon cop car, the closest I have is the Club's and thats on the Prime shelf. I'd get Abominus & Predaking but I could care less if we get them or not since we're not getting Computron just bring Blaster & the Titan Wars!
Johntimus Prime
I heard a tiny rumor on another TF site that there may be a Titan Class Predaking with 5 Voyagers coming, though even if he was 5 Voyagers, he wouldn't really be in Devastator's size range. It might be a gift set or online exclusive that goes for $150 or thereabouts if it does happen, or mass release.
Again, I dunno if this will pan out, but if we get the beast combiners (and Computron!), that'd be great.

Yea, we had Wheelie and Backtrack news posted a few days ago,
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/1050857-hasbro-applies-two-new-transformers-trademarks-autobot-wheelie-backtrack.html
It's going to be interesting to see what becomes of these.
RobotKnight95
I read this news from Seibertron which also lists Wheelie and Backtrack which I'm not sure is true or not, even then I don't know if this is CW related but if it is let me guess on mold reuses:
Wheelie: Blackjack
Backtrack: Groove
Barricade: Streetwise/Prowl
Brawn: Legends Gears or CW First Aid.
Also, if Predaking does come to fruition yet not include a sword that can rival Victorion's I'm gonna be mad. Though all I have just written is under the assumption these names have anything to do with Combiner Wars which they may not.
T-Hybrid
Why do people assume beast combiners would be expensive? Picture the G1 Predacons with more articulated bots.
flux convoy
Creature combiners or don't bother.
Johntimus Prime
Movie Barricade was pretty popular, wasn't he? I mean, the G1 version of that character didn't really have a defined personality and was a forgettable Micromaster. Much like with Bulkhead and his Animated/Prime versions, most people forget the bland Energon version now. I'd love a Generations-style toy of Barricade.
Thorhammer
Why is everyone excited for Barricade? Knowing Has/Tak he's probably going to be a third cop car retool of the Streetwise/Prowl model if he shows up in CW.
Aernaroth
Its gonna be a combiner based on the Energon Terrorcons and we're gonna laaaaaaaaughhhhhh
