United States Patent And Trademark Office is a wealth of information when it comes to learning what kind of Transformers products, TV shows and even movies that will come out in the near future.
It so happens that Hasbro has applied for two new trademarks at the USPTO few days ago under “Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms” category.
Autobot Wheelie (Trademark ID: 86741919)
Backtrack (Trademark ID: 86741920)
We do not know what these trademarks might mean but nearly all of the recently applied trademarks are now Toys/TV Shows/Movies. Therefore we can safely assume that we will see these characters one way or the other.
P.S: It is rumored that we will see a Legends Wheelie for Combiner Wars. But, speculations are all upto you now. Let us know what you think, on the thread associated with this news post.

I want a new Wheelie. He deserves his own mode, and I'd love to see a new figure.
Richard McBeef
It could be. I mean, Hasbro said that they were doing a new Legends Kickback, so it would make sense to release him in a reasonably short time following the release of Skrapnel and Bombshell.
Master Disaster
I've just had a silly thought. 'Backtrack' wouldn't be a new name for Kickback? Probably not.

Confession: I have the GDO Wheelie, and as much as I hate the character I would buy a new Legends toy of him.
Autovolt 127
Exactly my point.
Mirage232
While not my favorite character, I still believe that Wheelie deserves his own mold. His legends toy is to small, and the RTS Jazz repaint is way to big. And while we're at it Hasbro, can we get a new Rodimus Prime figure? And perhaps a Blurr that's not a Drift repaint?
bellpeppers
Already got a pretty nice Wheelie made from RTS Jazz mold.
Sylent
MP Wheelie would be awesome, but his size had better match the price point… yeah, right!
Murasame
Yeah! I still need Wheelie. Never managed to get his Legends toy. If he gets a newer, larger Legends Class toy, then it may have been faith. Like it seems with every toy so far. I did not get one version, wait a few years and the same mold comes out with a superior paint job or the same character gets a much cooler mold. I'm curious what it will be!
Wh33ls
I agree that IDW wheelie is far superior than G1 wheelie.
Afterburner
I'm not seeing how this is a wealth of information in any way. A lot of times these names don't even pan out to anything or it takes years (see Airachnid).
BombSquad
This is what I'm hoping for. Always did like the Triggerbots.
Bumblebee2000
Wouldn't mind Wheelie to go with the couple of S3 figures I have as he should be a fairly inexpensive legends figure and while I probably should've just gotten the Unite Warriors release if I wanted him so much, I'm hoping a second motorbike character in Backtrack is a justification for bringing over a deluxe Groove.

I thought pretty much the same thing, though I am an Australian who is not much older than the Transformers brand, haha. Yes, Outback definitely tried to have an Aussie accent, at least. He didn't appear that often, and I would have thought that most of the flak for voices in S3 would have gone to Blaster for suddenly rhyming most of the time, and Wheelie doing it all the time, for people who get irked by that sort of thing. Anyway there was of course meant to be a Legends Class Brawn coming up, according to that leak while back that revealed a heap of the Generations toys before CW. While we still haven't seen Brawn (or Gnaw and Gnash for that matter), there's an obvious mold-mate for Outback. When Huffer turned out to use the Legends OP mold, it seemed possible that Brawn could use that of Swerve and Gears, so the absolute easiest option to imagine is that Outback – if that's who Backtrack is – would do the same and, like Cliffjumper perhaps, come packed with the Legends OP rifle, to slap on his roof. For me, anything less opportunistic would be a bonus.
The idea of Backtrack being Rewind's new name is an interesting one too though. Rewind had his traditional name in the list of Legends figures that leaked around or even at the same time as the CW Combaticons. The thing is, so was Wheelie, whose name it seems has had to be renewed, though I won't pretend to know the specifics of that. If this means that either of their names may have been uncertain of being secured, then sure, it's more plausible that Backtrack is Rewind, but if Wheelie is a sign of how arbitrary name renewal can be, maybe not. It's just yet another wait and see thing.
st.ranger
Wheelie will be made from Blackjack I guess.

There's something so not right about Magnus having red thighs…
WhiteMocha
I know in general Wheelie's not, well, the most beloved character. But how can you look at this image…
…and not long for a new Wheelie? And, sure, a new Rodimus while we're at it.
payres
The first thing I thought of when I heard Backtrack was Backstreet, the Triggerbot!
The13Primes
*gets off kangaroo and plays outback voicetrack*
Bloody oath he did mate

Wheelie needs to be in Chug
It's better than a yellow bug
