Playstation official You Tube page has posted a video showcasing the playable characters of Transformers: Devastation.
We’ve already seen some of the clips of Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Bumblebee and Wheeljack but this is the debut of the Sideswipe trailer as a part of this new trailer.
“Take a closer look at each playable Autobot character’s unique fighting style and specialized moves.”
Check out the trailer, after the jump.

Platinum games tend to be old school affairs where replay value comes from mastery of the mechanics, unlocking all items and attacks, trying to beat high scores, and mastery of all characters and successive difficulty levels. So there's some truth to that.
That said, their campaigns aren't usually short, per se. Bayonetta 1 & 2 took me 30 hours for one playthrough (per game.) And that's just scratching the surface. Wonderful 101 was pretty lengthy.
If, however, you demand greater longevity through sheer content rather than mastery and unlocks, then yeah, you may wish to consider steering away from this. Or at least waiting for reviews.
Their games definitely aren't for everyone.

I want to buy this game for my boy, but hes a bit still young for games IMVHO, If I pre-order this game and dont give him the game for a year, will the pre-order stuff still work ? or is their a time limit on stuff like this ? have a PS2 in my house and that is it LOL

Nemesis Prime from the preorder dlc

Everything they have shown is mostly that one city area. I hope there are more than just a few maps and levels.

This is the new Space T-Rex.

Based on the Achievements list, there doesn't look like there's going to be much game here other than replaying as one of the other characters. I just see this being way to short.

No Decepticons added since I last checked? Still not interested.
Shizuka
Please have a wave-based mode.

I'm so excited for this game! The aesthetic is so G1 AND I can't believe they got some of the voice actors back! Especially Michael Bell as Sideswipe! I can't wait to play as him.
At first I was a little turned off by the playstyle but I think I could get use to it. The music and cell shading remind me of dragonball z budokai 3, which is a game I love. So its kinda cool that this a blend of that.
Also, I am really really really hoping that they add Jazz as a playable character in DLC. I feel like they could really get creative with his fighting style and moves. I would love that so much!

Insane combos, impossible physics, highly stylized over-the-top animations, and gigantic bosses that are true spectacles to fight.
Yep. This is a Platinum developed game, alright.
If you liked Bayonetta or games like it, this will probably satisfy. If you're looking for a deep story, open world, or an action shooter ala WFC/FoC, look elsewhere.
I'm all in, personally.
G.I.EDDIE
Right. Like Wheeljacks and Bumblebees and Sideswipes original G1 alt modes.
Exodus
Nice game, if only if I had the time to play it…
gbm
Whaddya mean?
Like a real Countach, and a VW, and such?
Feralstorm
That "humping a downed enemy in vehicle/dino mode" move is a bit much.
Fallout
Wheeljack, ACTION SCIENTIST
G.I.EDDIE
Disappointing that the alt modes are made up and not licensed. Kinda ruined the enthusiasm I had.
UltraAlanMagnus
I cant wait for this in less then a month.

The game looks more ROTF then it does WFC, which is a huge positive for me

Dang… wish they'd fight like that in the movies.
Looks pretty good…. I love all the rolling and flipping around.
