So much for Target having a deal on Carthweel this month…

Hmmm…. wondered about that too???… also I'm still watching as they air on CN, so for me, everything is still new.
Maybe they're just spreading the eps out on CN even tho most folks have dl'd them to watch much, much earlier this year.
TFW10
thank you for the updates
Autovolt 127
heh.
It'd be great if that happens….though I still don't have Break-Neck or Quickslinger.

So, the RiD season finale is in September? That makes no sense; I saw it a couple of months ago! I know American TV scheduling is weird, but that takes the biscuit!
I'd like to see it continue really. I would have preferred they just carry on with TF: Prime, but since we got RiD 2.0 I'd like to see it play out as intended. If it ends prematurely it's not because it's a bad show, it's because of what I said above; weird American scheduling. If British TV were chopped up like US TV* no-one would bother watching anything.
As for the toys, I've got two; the Takara Strongarm Vs Phantom Jaw set and the quality is just terrible. I actually regret importing it, it's so bad. I won't be getting any more until they're deeply discounted.
As for all the other things listed, no use to me! Would be nice if Hasbro (and other US based toy companies) remembered there's a world outside America! For a Global Community there's very little love for non-US fans.
*This has recently happened with the BBC shows Atlantis and Doctor Who. For some reason the BBC are following US broadcasters in chopping a full series into two parts and spreading them out over the course of a year. Atlantis was already cancelled and I doubt anything would have saved it, but by chopping it up like that, it certainly didn't help it!

I would be very disappointed if RiD only lasts one season. My son and I love the show and the toys are a lot of fun.

RID POSSIBLY Ending in the first season makes complete sense tbh. Its in the "Death slot", and not even relatively big transformers fans in my area know the show EXISTS! Not to mention the (kinda crappy) toys aren't exactly flying off the shelves…

Why would Hasbro "market" something that ultimately they have no control over? They could have millions of Wave 4 Voyagers ready to go…but if stores aren't ordering more cases there's nothing they can do to get them out to us at retail.
These types of announcements, though, are very useful for people who like to utilize sales and other online deals to plan their purchases. For example, I was tempted to grab a few RiD figures the other day…but now I'm going to wait because there's a chance a sale may make them cheaper.
What I wouldn't mind, however, is some discussion on what determines when something hits HasbroToyShop. Example: Devastator has been available for MONTHS in retail and online (and in some cases is already transitioning OUT of stores) yet we haven't seen anything on HTS.

So August is RID month?
I hate to be "that guy", but I really don't notice any of these "initiatives", nor do the majority of consumers. It's like, I don't announce getting up in the morning and making coffee – even if I switch to a new flavor for the month of August!
A lot of these "initiatives" are normal marketing schemes that should be working in the background at all times to make the brand successful. Am I the only one who finds it odd that Hasbro calls so much attention to their marketing efforts? Do they earn a prize for someone noticing? Is there an Emmy (marketing-version?) board that pays attention to these releases?
Can Hasbro make some press releases detailing their manufacturing schedule and numbers, so maybe we have a better idea of what toys are coming when? I really think that information would be more relevant. So if we knew 10 million CW deluxes were made, we might be more irritated with the stores for not carrying the ample supply?
Yes.

Too much Autobot love, to counter balance it we need a Decepticon Decade.
Neko-bot77
so…. clash of TFs was supposed to be a big thing? i got the op/megatronus 2pack a week or 2 ago. i predict this event, much like the may event, to be pretty boring. Give us a REAL event! With actual REAL sales on stuff we WANT. and have actual new stuff RELEASED. QS and BN was all that was correct about the may event. even the advertised end of combiner wars comic issue that was advertised was delayed!!!!
Yobuster
All this sounds fine and dandy but sadly i'm only interested in the warrior class assortments but there doesn't seem to be anything here.
StarSaber
Deluxe Groove will be revealed in the month Hasbro has dubbed "Groovember"while next year we can eagerly look forward to Takara Blast-Off in "Deceptember" and the rest of Computron in "Technovember".

Finale in September?!
Smokescreen
So, they're calling it a two-part finale and not a season finale? Hope that's not a bad sign. I thought RID had been renewed already.
T-Hybrid
Hopefully this goes more smoothly than May Mayhem, in which maybe one or two figures were discounted (without much fanfare) and Quickslinger/Brake-Neck sold out within hours on the first day.
Not much time left in August either, so I'm guessing the Transformers stuff on Cartwheel will be this coming weekend.
Underlord
Will android devices be powered by crankcase?
