August 2015 marks the scheduled release of the Kabaya Candy King Poseidon / Piranacon set in Japan, and luckily for us, the Japanese twitter user sig_yan (シグやん) has share several in hand images of the Transformers Gum line’s ninth release. Sig_yan shared that because of how the legs and fins are molded on the Stingray (Seawing) and the Squid (Tentakil), it will be difficult to put this set in Beast Wars II’s God Neptune configuration.
Sig_yan also mentioned that after 3 cycles of transformations, instruction is still needed to put the Seacons into their Beast modes. So if you’re getting this set, don’t toss out the package right away! Anyways, checkout the mirrored images after the break.

Those are so cool! I want one.

So, who's gotten their case of assortment from HLJ? Are the experiences so far at least one of each fig to get a complete set of 6 (even tho they're randomized?)
Dirge121
Yeah its not great. Even for gum.
payres
Foul, given previous reports.
The13Primes
the real question is what does the gum taste like
payres
Seacon case arrived from HLJ yesterday. Double of Skalor (box 5) and Tentakil (box 6)

I have overlord and Fortress Max kayabi version. I do enjoy the mini collection and put the spare ones in my office.

I love these colors.
More TFs with bright colors please
Bright colors that aren't… Rodimus colors.

Regardless of company, all cases of candy toys will include one complete set. After that, it's up in the air. If there's enough for two complete sets, they sometimes do that. Other times the extras are completely random.
trashk
Coulda sworn the HLJ site said these were randomized. If not that's cool lol, but I sorta bought three cases JIC …
payres
Case is 8 so you should end up with two extras.

I think all these will be the same harder plastic rather then the softer stuff. When you look at the other combiners like defensor and bruticus and stuff, the limbs just look like cheap soft plastic they are made of.. Seacons dont have that look of soft plastic.. I will be disapointed if they are but really hoping they are hard plastic..
This set is killer looking , cant wait to get it ..
Thelonicon
Kabaya kits generally have two types of plastic, the really soft crappy one used for a lot of the combiner limbs for Defensor, Bruticus, etc and a harder plastic used for the larger sets. Based off the price/case size, I'm guessing that these are going to (thankfully) be the harder plastic.

As much as I'd love the BBTS version (which I'll get some day) I already have the original King Posseidon (how was I to know they'd reissue the set for less than a tenth of the cost >XD) and I want a cute and adorable set. Needless to say the Seacons are one of my all time favorite combiner teams. Having a full sized and a mini one is only better. If only Hasbro would stop being bums not making animal combiners and make me a Seacon update things would be perfect.

Fun?
You do know that America isn't the only country in the world, right? Not everyone can afford BBTS's international postage fees. What seems "not too much" to you translates to, "Christ, how much for postage?!" to those outside the US bubble. Never mind customs fees!
Just sayin'!
As it happens I have the G1 re-issue too, but still love these. Though I am a model maker so…
Awaiting shipment of mine from HS. Hope the wait isn't too long! Might end up with some spares so if I do I'll put them up in the Junkion Exchange.

Super want!!!!!!!!
The Madness
You seem to assert that each purchase is mutually exclusive. Why do people like WST when there are the larger G1 versions available? Why do people collect variants or classic updates?
Why buy MISB when loose is cheaper?
I'm happy to have both myself as I like the size class, enjoy making them, and tend to find Kabaya combiner leaders display well with G1 scramble city limbs.
I'm really looking forward to getting Snaptrap to put together with the rest of the Seacons.
Bigger isn't always better. These aren't just a poor man's Transformers, though they are niche.
General Tekno
The mini versions are fun to build.
I have the reissue Seacons and I'm still getting these. Hopefully plastic quality is better than the last few combiners.

I guess I still just don't understand the appeal for this when you can get the full-size G1 re-release for not too much money at BBTS. Personally I'd much rather have that figure (and do) than this mini version. I bought the re-release back when the full set was only like $35 bucks too, so it was a steal.
Of course the full size G1 version doesn't come with gum. Maybe that's the appeal…
