This is only one source confirming this information, so please do keep in mind things can change as this could likely be an estimation. If more information surfaces we will be sure to update the community, but for now this gives us a good discussion point.

Exactly.
So while the rest of you do your math, compare & contrast, keep in mind that it's just a stab in the dark with no official pricing to entice consumers to place their orders with TFi.

Come on guys, there is no way this will be cheaper than a Masterpiece car. It will be slightly more. So on HLJ, probably $70 to $80 after discounts the cheapest. Not, including $20, $25 for shipping. BBTS will probably have this at around $90 to $110. And, there is no way in hell it will be above $120 anywhere to those speculating $150.

There is always ample criticism regarding scale, details, accuracy, etc. for every figure regardless of 3P or official, but one thing the 3rd parties have yet to match with TT is price. Many third party minibots and carbots start near $100, and escalate well beyond that. 7200 Yen is fist-pumpingly awesome if true.

Oh hell yeah!
This comes out before my birthday! Excellent timing…
EDIT: Unless it's all a lie!

Much in the same way that BBTS put up that initial MP Ultra Magnus pre-order at something like $250. That Ironhide price sounded too good to be true.

Paging Dr. Wu, please report to the OR for emergency cranial reconstruction… STAT!

Dr Wu would most likely do it.

I plan on getting him, but if a 3p company offers an alternate head that looks better, to go on him. I would get that too.

Someone mentioned BBTS charging about $20 or $30 more for MP Ironhide but I sadly have to disagree, with them jacking up their prices for the MP Cars by almost twice as much I don't expect Ironhide to be anything less than $150.
And trust me when I say even with all the negative criticism toward Ironhide he is certainly gonna be one of the most sought after MP's,as for all the naysayers as much as they claim to hate him I bet atleast 25% of those people will secretly order Ironhide anyway cause they are so ashamed of being found out they got a tiny inclination to have him, just saying.

Quoted for truth.

I hope the Diaclone version has no head, but comes with an insert to put behind the windshield with a digital face on it. His name could be 'Headroom' as a homage to the disembodied head character of Max Headroom. Plus, vans have more headroom than cars. Get it? Headroom? It works on so many levels.
Not serious about the second part regarding the name, but totally serious about the no-head idea.

I agree, I've tried all three- AE, NY, and HLJ and no real probs with any of them yet. I got Magnus and Star Saber from HLJ and both boxes were a little dinged. I got the MP 10 Takara reissue from NY and the box was immaculate.

Omg, THIS IS A MADE UP PRE ORDER. The guy who runs the site put it up just so people would stop asking when orders would open – the price and release date is total speculation and subject to change. Pure guess work. This has been up for weeks, good work everyone.

Finally some Fx coming through…

Wow. If Ironhide is that price, who the heck could resist? Instabought.

A wholly separate piece. Just a homage to the G1 toy that's all.

I've used both a lot recently and they are both pretty good; EMS and SAL take basically the same amount of time since they're both on top of shipping your stuff. If you pay it'll will almost always be shipped that day or the following day.
As far as packing/shipping. HLJ is usually cheaper but they typically have as much packaging protection. If I ship multiple items, the boxes are usually up against the cardboard box. Their boxes are pretty sturdy but if there's a large bang it might dent the inner boxes.
Amiami will pack your items very well with a lot of paper packing on all sides of the items. The other side of that is bigger box and heavier box. So it's a tradeoff. If you definitely need mint packaging, go with Amiami.

Can't complain about the price!

FYI:
8800 Yen = $72 = £45 = €65
6100 Yen = $50 = £32 = €45
Would a mod be able to adjust the front page news to reflect this? I don't want to mislead people into thinking the RRP is $65 and that you'd get an additional 30% off that through Japanese importers.
