Taghobby have posted some images from an event they are currently attending – and one of the things being offered to fans at this event are the Combiner Wars Deluxe Wave 4 and the Voyager Class Battle Core Optimus Prime.
Check out some in-hand images of these five toys – Battle Core Optimus, plus Deluxes Sunstreaker, Prowl, Ironhide, and Mirage – attached to this post. We think this means it is safe to say these are either now out in Hong Kong or will be very soon – and hopefully that means things follow through and they make it to the US not too long after.

i'm starting to really like it
payres
I have several Primes without a faceplate and movie primes that would beg to differ.
chaosMonkeyPoo
Bummer that this relatively unecessary Prime figure gets such a cool headsculpt whereas the first release gets one of the worst Prime heads in recent memory.
AnonymousDwell
Wow, they make a much more handsome combiner than I had expected in-hand. Not bad!

I was keeping my fingers crossed for the longest time that we'd either get a Bumblebee or Roller to go with Voyager Prime.
EightiesKid
Darnit, can Hasbro please stop making too many awesome figures??! I am having to buy everything!!!! Love the Mirage!
Seriously though, having a lot of choice is a good problem to have. Thanks Hasbro!

I haven't gotten any CW figures because they don't appeal to me. I don't like how flat they look but I might get Prowl because I don't have one and he looks pretty good. He has a white gun in the comics?

It actually could make a fairly decent little bumblebee. Much better than the pinheaded legends figure.
ultramagnus1
Yes it would but as BB is currently dead in the main IDWverse it may be a while before we see a figure like BB be made as the CW line is very much an iDW thing.
If he miraculously returns then yeah he would be a cert.
FAKER II
I too really wish Blackjack had been made into Bumblebee. It still could happen. Hasbro loves to crank out Bumblebees.

@Reprolabels you guys got a job to do.

Online? Maybe.
In stores? Nope.
Target has slowly crept the price of Deluxe figures to $15-16 bucks in my area, up from $10 as recently as a year ago. Meanwhile they marked all of the AoE stuff up to $18 before putting them on Clearance for $10-12.
And then there's Toys R Us. Who decided the best way to sell Transformers is to constantly be a wave behind the rest of the world and sell Deluxes for $20.

Are you upset by one exclamation point? An exclamation point can be angry, or can be happy/excited etc. Maybe I didn't include a smile face, but I didn't include an angry one either.
I meant it as like "Tada!" Here's a way to get exactly what you want. You can be happy about it! Yay!
… if that helps
There have been shelf warming Optimi… maybe. But that's not the issue. The issue is a comparison between which would sell better: a box labeled "Optimus" and a box labeled "Checkpoint". Optimus would likely sell better. Or at least Hasbro would expect it to sell better.
You can keep the box but still re-purpose him as Checkpoint for yourself. No need to blindly adhere to what's printed on a box.

If anything wave 4 will come out at a lower price than other waves, as it seems there is less demand. It might even drive up the price of wave 3 as people start to panic and start buying them before it's "too late". BBTS has a fair price on the set of 4 wave 3, you could get that then re-bay the ones you don't need.
I think that's because of the colors.

Optimus Prime's new head feels like an "Optimus Prowl" instead of Star Convoy.
videriant
Doubtful as long as there's demand. W3 won't drop in price unless there's a bunch of it shelfwarming at B&M.
MatrixOfWumbo
If these guys come out soon, will the Wave 3 guys drop in price online? Amazon wants 19 bucks and I can't find First Aid anywhere else.
Autoboty
They learned al right… and decided to release the 10 or so Bumblebee toys in a single line.
Smitty.1981
I think it was during ROTF/ Animated that I counted every Bumblebee that was in a Wal-Mart in Lawton, Oklahoma and there were 12 or 15 different Bumblebee toys. No Bee has ever been a shelf warmer in the two states I've lived in since the post movie boom.
God Ginrai
I think Hasbro learned their lesson from the days when the DOTM, First Edition, and PRID Bumblebees were all shelfwarming together.
